Rhys is already better than Enda and Rhys is improving while Enda is deteriorating. Rhys has great physicality, but his ball skills are not that great. Rhys and Lowe are like Baldock and Bogle. I would bring back Lowe - start with Lowe and Bogle and, if necessary use the others to protect later on.

Still a young lad with time on his side. He’s the type of academy product that we might be able to keep hold of long term if we stay in the championship bit like Quinn and Lowton solid player but without the standout attribute which prem teams take punts on
Agree with what you say but Lowton?

Yeah he’s been a solid prem player but he wasn’t a Walker/Naughton/brooks standout when he left us just a bargain pick up from a league one side as he was too good to play at that level. Had we still been a champ side I think we could’ve retained him as he would’ve cost at least double what he left for and that makes him a much different proposition.

Normally if they’ve not set the world alight by their early 20’s prem teams don’t swoop in with too good to refuse money and player then work their way up the hard way.

Works hard, he’s quick, good aerially, good positionally.

Lacks in ball retention and technical ability though he’s not horrendous. This can be worked on.

21/22.

He’ll do for me.

Thought he started off poorly last night but got better as the game went on, but as been said previously he needs to work on his crossing if he wants to hold down the place. UTB

I wasn’t that impressed with his first few games but he’s really gone up a level in the last few games. Looking a really good player at both ends of the pitch and it’s his shirt to lose now.

I've been critical to date, but that's back-to-back very good performances from RND. Defensively solid and the final ball is improving.

I still feel like there's a lot of room for improvement in the final third from both wing backs, but they're getting better.

Hopefully he keeps going and takes encouragement from this week. Take more risks with the ball and make positive driving runs into the box. It won't always come off, but the chaos it causes often leads indirectly to something (see Bogle).

I don't know if it's cause the lad is a full international but he doesn't seem to get the leeway that other young academy players get when starting to play in the first team.

There is defo plenty of room for improvement but he has done ok so far for me and was excellent yesterday. Hopefully his confidence can continue to grow.

Not seen it mentioned elsewhere but that must’ve been so sweet for Rhys yesterday to put in that kind of performance against the side who released him as a youngster.

A real moment of validation for all the hard work and sacrifice from him and his family

His workrate is fantastic. 22 and improving under this manager. Quality (confidence) improving as well

I've been more than impressed with RND lately. Early on this season I didn't think he was very good and couldn't understand why he was highly rated but he was playing Slavball under our former braindead supremo, so that explains a lot.

One thing is clear and that Enda Stevens looks increasingly like he isn't going to recapture former glories or his previous form where he was amongst one of the best LWB's around, and he suffered badly from the loss of JOC with whom he had a great understand, the loss of JOC is looking like destroying the Blades career of Enda as well. A sad end of for a player who has rightly cemented his place in United folklore.

With regards RND, the chance has been there for him to come in, and he is now taking it. The last few games he has strung a few games where played consistently well, solid in the tackle, great with the ball and is getting more and more forward. I always think most players take a little time to adapt to the way we play and there is a solid argument that has been the case with RND, just as it was with Bogle.

I also think his development has been handled well, whoever spotted him and brought him in has obviously seen something in it, and his loan move and developments have been tailor made in bring him on, and providing him with a stable environment to gradually progress rather than getting thrown in the deep end. He isn't as flashy as David Brooks was, but his development is pretty much following a similar path.

Was an injury doubt before the game but was still sprinting hard at the end. Some terrific challenges and the nudge into the advertising boards was Morganesque. Well played Rhys.

His final ball lets him down a bit, but he has improved a lot since the beginning of the season, fair play to him

I said before that after watching him when Stoke were on TV l didn’t rate him mainly due to his temperament. Thought the same in his earlier games for us. However he’s matured very quickly and he’s looking good. Could have done with ragdolling Travis though. What a sad excuse for a pro footballer. His hold me back routine over
trying to get to Goode was funny though.......

Soft pen aside, but Seriki’s performance has highlighted what a c**t I was for slagging RND previously.

RND doesn’t have the technical ability to play any higher than lower end Championship, and I don’t think he can do that very well.

Being young(ish) and trying hard will not and cannot make up for the lack of quality which can’t be masked any longer than a couple of games tops.

Good luck to the lad but if we want to compete at the top end of this division we need a lot better.

Are you having a veiled go at an 18 year old making his first start next to someone who has probably never played RCB before? He's not torn it up but Seriki has done OK given the circumstances.

No dig at all, only at you for suggesting Femi has done ok. Seriously…
