Andy gray said why arnt man u looking at wilder? Then went on to highlight his strengths and achievements, he then mentioned the big six saying he would do a job anywhere, including abroad
Then Richard keys said to Andy gray about how hard is it being in a 2 club city to which Andy gray said and I quote,
" Wednesday used to be the biggest team in Sheffield but not anymore! Their miles behind Sheffield united...miles!"
Keys started laughing and gray said "what's so funny? Sheff utd 2 points off champions league while Wednesday midtable in the championship, absolute miles behind and with all the trouble at Wednesday regarding ffp they'll be even further behind and might NEVER catch up!"

I watched an ESPNFC (the FC stands for Fucking Crap I believe) and it was midseason awards, Steve obviously picked Klopp but the beardy bloke picked Wilder, Nichol looked like someone had just had a shit on his steak and chips.

The argument that Klopp has taken Liverpool from 2nd to first, and Wilder has taken us from 2nd in the league below to pushing for Europe after 20 odd games seemed to make him visibly sick.

It's all well and good that these professional pundits are collectively falling over themselves to tell us how great we were, but it's telling that anyone who had even done the slightest bit of research didn't share the widely-held view of our 20th placed finish.

1. We were rock solid at the back in 18/19 whilst Norwich shipped 34 goals at home. The amount of games they won 3-2 and 4-3 was ludicrous and was never going to happen in the Prem. Did nobody take a look at that? It baffled me then and baffles me now that Norwich were predicted across the board to finish above us. Nonsensical.
2. The only area you could say we were weak was up top - and we spent over £30m on reinforcements up there. By contrast, Norwich signed nobody and Villa pinned all of their hopes on a Club Brugge striker.
3. Wilder has always shown he is capable of adapting his tactics when changing club or division - he switched to our 3-5-2 after four games of the season playing 4-4-2 remember! The know-nothings saying we would be torn apart obviously didn't even consider the fact we would probably tweak the formation slightly.
4. We have a totally unique way of playing that was always going to catch teams off guard.
5. We're a very versatile team and can win matches in more ways than most other teams. Most teams have one style of playing and stick to it, but we don't.

I just don't see how anybody could have been aware of any of those 5 points (there are plenty more reasons, too) and still tipped us to finish bottom.

He was off sick yesterday. I caught the back end of Drive and they were playing back the clip of when he slated us, immediately followed by the commentary of Billy scoring on Sunday, followed by them pissing themselves at how wrong he was.
