Did he sign in time for Sunday or was he too late?

If he signed before 12pm then he would be able to, but I'm guessing that he didn't. It may have been that we tried to get the medical done and then that done in time and then showed him around and did the media stuff afterwards if it meant he could play against Arsenal? I'm not sure and I doubt we'll find out before the team sheet is released.
I don't really want him to start on Sunday because I think he needs some time to settle in before he starts.

Don’t know what to think of this signing. Potentially a great player and could guarantee our safety but Palace were clearly his first choice, a huge contract at such a young age... I just hope he’s signed for the right reasons. We shall see!

From his interview I got the impression he trained today, so you'd think it was completed early if he trained? But then again it could just be running he'd have to do for his medical?

I think he could, being fit and all, but it would be disrespectful to the players we have. Imagine if someone comes in, doesn't train with the team and gets to start.
Hope he can come off the bench though.

Some would appear to suggest that this is bad news for Sharp but he will relish the extra competition and also recognise the benefit of this signing to the football club (he's a blade and will see the bigger picture too). Brewster may well benefit from playing with the likes of Sharp as well. Sharp has been written off many times before but a goal scorer is a goal scorer no matter what age they are. Still our captain and a leader on and off the pitch with plenty to offer still.
