A reminder / reality check that only 4.5 years ago, Utd had Conor Sammon up front. Today the club will sign one of the games' hottest prospects for what will hopefully be over £20m (the more successful he is, the more Utd pay) who seems to be highly rated by pretty much everyone (except expert fans of Villa and the Massive of course).

What CWAK have achieved is nothing short of stellar.

Let's just wait until he has scored a few and we climb the table.
Then I might sit back and light a Cigar.
Connor Sammon has still scored more goals for Sheffield United than Rhian Brewster.

Large amount of money for a player with half a season in the Championship under his belt.
Hoping Wilder has got this one right - we need more than the kind of output we've had from McBurnie and Moose.

It is but he brings genuine excitement and that will lift the group at a critical time

you know what though it's just as likely that Liverpool have just made a mistake letting him go, you only have to look at Greenwood, Rashford and TAA to see where things could go for Brewster... Wouldn't be the end of the world if we just flipped a player for £20m profit after one season!

It isn't a Dallas style Bobby Ewing dream sequence and I will wake up to realise it is a dream.

Would you not agree that the ball has always been ‘firmly in Wilder’s court’?

He’s just delivered on an exceptional scale. With or without money he’s built up more than enough credit, even if we were relegated this season.

Agreed - but will the Prince see it that way - it’s a cut throat business

Doubt it's just as likely Brewster's playing for England by the end of the season. If it helps the others up front up their game that would help.
Lot riding on it for that fee.
