In fairness, we do get in good positions. Often without creating a good chance. But maybe its the lack of movement from our strikers in the box that leads to us not creating better goalscoring opportunities.

Burke looks great, but he isn't a natural striker that instinctively peels off a defender in the box, or attacks the near post. McGoldrick, we know, isn't a natural finisher - though chances do sometimes fall to him because he can be hard to pick up. McBurnie & Sharp's lack of mobility mean they're quite easy to pick up in attacking situations.

Hopefully Brewster comes in and is able to make himself a target for crosses. Can create his own chances. His strength is one touch finishing. I don't think we have that in our ranks.

I think if Brewster comes in he'll compliment McBurnie particularly well as we need someone with pace to play off and benefit from the flick ons and hold up play that he provides.

BBC and Daily Mail are just quoting the Sun as their source. So it just depends how much credibility you give old Nixon really.

I think he's walking up the kop steps in the next couple of days, getting nettled, standing in piss and getting gum stuck to his boots.

A year or so old, but interesting/detailed on Brewster.
Good article and also might explain why Brewster may feel aggrieved given Klopps comments that he’ll definitely be playing for them this season.
It also highlights how serious his injury was which should give concern about us paying over the odds.

Who knows he may also encourage his “big bro” to join us on loan in Jan, as he would be incredible as our RCM although I’d be shocked if he’s not still in their plans as a squad player. Can’t see him ever making a first teamer though so it’s a possibility next summer.

On a slightly serious note, I understand much has been made of Brewster’s ability and one touch finishing.
I hope he has more tools in his box than that. Blades usually play two strikers, and they need to complement each other’s skill set. I hope we sign him and pair him with Burke, because I think they are sufficiently different to offer the qualities of a Deane/Agana type partnership.
It’s something we have lacked for too long.

Burke would be my preferred partnership too. If he can keep providing those tasty through balls, then Brewster will be feasting all season long.

Top tier tho that India fella he usually gets 99% right

Signs looking good #welcomerhian
No he isn’t. It’s a joke account, as has been discussed on this very thread.
Fucking hell, it’s no wonder it’s at a record number of pages when people just post without reading. I’m looking forward to seeing someone posting another screenshot or link to The Sun story about the £17m fee too, like they’ve stumbled across some incredible hidden information that no one else with an internet connection is privy to.
