CONFIRMED Rhian Brewster

Took a risk and put Brewster in my FPL team as my 'cheap as chips, burner forward'. I'm screwed if he comes to us as I'll have 4 Blades players in the squad.

Maybe the FPL gods won't notice though and I've just hacked the system. Or, I'm ruined....

You can do it, ive done it before. You just wont be able to make any other subs between games unless you sub one of your blades players

I'd love everything to be done early, but I'm pretty zen re. our strikers. I still think we need to make more chances for them and I think the likes of McBurnie, Didz and Moose will score more this season assuming the opportunities are there.

Yes if you have a buy back clause.
See what happens with this, but if we're coughing up £20M plus, we want him now, no waiting another few weeks or we should walk away.

EDIT: I don't really want a loan, unless it's a loan with a price within the rumored range for us to convert in the summer, which actually may be the best deal all round.
Scratch that, I want it to be a loan.

Darn sarf teams will spend the cash for the permo if Liverpool want to let him go. I hope we can move quickly onto other targets in the event Liverpool start pissing around.

We did it with Kean Bryan so we obviously don’t have a problem with the principle.

Are folks from Liverpool still referred to as "permo's" then? I know they all have tash's and shell-suits but I thought that hairstyle had gone out of fashion, even over there? 🤔
 
At this point I feel convinced Brewster is joining us unless Liverpool get an injury before season starts/window ends. I reckon Klopp and CW have made that agreement. Purely based on the media rumours, CW's confidence in last interview (and the no24 being available!).

BTW in what world would they loan him to Swansea instead of us or another prem team guaranteeing him plenty of football.

Not so sure, Liverpool repeatedly say they are in no rush to make a decision on him where as Wilder seems very confident his man is in the bag. The 2 don't correlate. Also the fact that Wilder said there would be signing from abroad makes me thing it's Dennis (I don't buy into the story about the BM teen).

I think this gets done for a few reasons. We dont play with a traditional number 9 which Brewster absolutely is. He isnt built like one but he just finds space and slots. Im not sure if this is going to be a loan or sell with a buy back clause but either way i think its a good deal for you guys.

I subscribe and pay for the biggest LFC fanbase podcast and not one person has said we should let him go so that should speak volumes. We dont even want him loaned...we see our forwards as Firmino, Brewster, Origi in that order and only one of them scored in the semi and final of the Champions league.

Oh and for the DCL shouts...Brewster had a 1 in 2 record last season playing for a club on loan at 19...stop the comparison there. He scored half the amount of goals DCL has at Everton in his career in a few months. Ollie Watkins just signed for Villa for an outrageous sum. When he was Rhains age he was playing in League TWO and even then he had a 1 in 3.5 record.

I honestly believe Brewster is a generational talent. He'll do wonders at Sheffield United should it happen.
