I was talking to a couple of pig mates Sunday night and usually their all bullish and they usual mud slinging out our club. However the comment above mirrors exactly what they were saying. They still had the sly "we've got the better players" but freely admitted that's pointless if they don't know how to use them.

Stating if C C still in charge come derby day they have no chance.

Similar here. Pre season most of the ones I know were very confident about the Derby, not so much now, in fact not one of them thinks they will win. Their main concern is that Carloss simply won't appreciate the magnitude of the occasion and subsequently won"t get the players fired up for it. Some are clinging onto the hope that some of their players (Lees, Hutchinson, Westwood, Hooper are the ones frequently mentioned) will be able to rise to it and drag the others along. Where as Wilder will have our lads chomping at the bit, physically and mentally prepared to take it to them. We'll know soon enough.
I do expect that any luck n the day will go in their favour, it usually does so we will need to be at our best and take any chances we get.

One question. As Wednesday signed Rhodes this summer and he's played, I thought he couldn't be sold again in the same transfer window? Is it different for a loan?

He can play. If he had played for Boro this season then went to pigs and played. He then couldn't play for another team. However he never played for Boro.

i would add Wright to that. as he reminds me of Ashley Williams when he was coming through the leagues with swansea. as he spent had 6 years of his career in lower leagues only got an opportunity in higher leagues thru promotion as higher clubs werent interested until after Swansea stayed up in premier league 1st season. as on Roygbiv views oxford fans were happy to let him go as they didnt think he was good enough for their bench in L1 & yet hes proven himself good enough in championship

I believe the rule is playing for more than 2 rather than signing for 2.

1) he has sort of point. as the Wednesday fans always do they egcarrate. i said towards the end of the season in post to not recreate leicester, as there will more than likely be a point where we haven't had a had win for 5/6 games. as there are few easy games on paper as including last sat 6 game spell. Derby Sunderland Norwich Wednesday Wolves & Forest. every game is tough in that
