United's Reserves kick-off their 2007-08 Pontins Holiday League East campaign at Sheffield's Don Valley Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Blades' second-string get their new season underway against Scunthorpe United at Don Valley Stadium, which is the venue for United's home Reserve league fixtures this term.

Admission is £2 for adults and £1 for concessions, and free for season ticket holders. Kick-off is 7.00pm.

The Blades are set to field a relatively young side, with the likes of James Ashmore, Evan Horwood and Lloyd Kerry joining Nicky Law, Christian Nade and Jordan Robertson in the starting line-up.

This season, the Blades will operate one Reserve team rather than fielding two second-string sides as they did last term. The move is dictated by Pontins League rules that prevent clubs from fielding two Reserve sides as United did at Chesterfield and Worksop last season.

Blades Reserves: Annerson, Binnion, Naughton, Ashmore, Cresswell, Horwood, Law, Ross, Nade, Robertson, Kerry.
Subs: Lowton, Eagers, Donnelly, Oliver, Abdi.
