Teams that succumb to second season syndrome are teams that escaped by the skin of their teeth in season 1
hull cardiff huddersfield only just stayed up in season 1

we have performed more like wolves and bournemouth after they got up

people cant suss us out as we are evolving and changing for the better
we are defending with more ability than hope
, we are a good defensive side ,with teeth up front

I'm going to tell you anyway but who did we finish runners up to in 2006?

We went straight back down of course but under Coppell they just missed out on the Europa League finishing in 8th.

Seems an exact parallel to what we're currently in now and so Reading were relegated in their second season.

They had some half decent goalscorers too such as Stephen Hunt, Kitson and Kevin Doyle.

As you can now see it's not always second season syndrome following a narrow escape in the first season. Another example being Ipswich finishing 5th in their first season after a promotion and then actually going down in the following one.
