Is that what you would have preferred this season?
Yes I know we all wanted automatic. If we would have been involved in a relegation battle the whole bad feeling around our club would probably be less. With the struggle against relegation the positive results would have made most feel that much better and would have been celebrated more. DW would have gone before Christmas to be replaced by ? Survival would probably instil a feeling of, that we could fall no further, leading to a feeling of a more positive outlook for next season. Now most believe we have not yet reached anywhere near the bottom.
We are in the play offs, with many suggesting that they have had enough and will not go. If by some miracle we win, will people buy season tickets for next season or will the numbers drop? If they do drop will we be the 1st club ever to get promoted and support to fall? It may have happened before but I cannot think when.
Anyway just a few thoughts from a depressed Blade.
