Reda Khadra

Cannot deny he had a shocker tonight, but IMO we need to keep him.
At present the games are coming 'thick & fast'! and because of this he is not getting the game-time he needs to learn and get used to playing in the side!. Which in my opinion makes him look the 'fish out of water' player we're seeing. Regardless of whether he gets that necessary game-time(and hopefully he does), we are certainly going to need him and every other player we have once the Christmas schedule is upon us and that sequence of games takes it's toll on our squad.
Keep faith in him and I reckon he will come good.

His best result for us is coming on as an impact sub v Swansea. Apart from his obvious pace, he has only played as a late sub, or because he’s a squad player and we get plenty of injuries.
If it wasn’t for impact or injuries, he wouldn’t get a game. Makes me wonder how good his is in training?

He seems to have put on weight since being here..........which ties in with the general level of fitness around our squad. I don't get how that is allowed to happen.
Living in moose old flat xx it's the London phone box syndrome instead of ladies its just eat pictures 📸

Some poor comments from Nigel Pearson re: Khadra tonight. Namely that he has been disappointing for us, didn't run about for us tonight and probably wishes he'd gone to Bristol City in the Summer instead of us too.

Not nice for him to be shit stirring like that. I'm sure they'll be no love lost between PH and him from now on.

Piggy Pearson said the following when asked about read. Pearson is such a t@&£

I don't think it was about us it was about a player who was been a huge disappointment since he's been there.

It was more to do with them thinking any chance of him running around?

We tried to sign him in the summer

I wonder if he thinks he should have come here instead?

He needs to be played in the right position for anyone to start making an an asses ent on him, he’s never been a wing back…

Pearson is a complete cunt.

Hecky on Reda:

"I got the shape wrong. We couldn't start with three in midfield with Tommy out. That's not a reflection on Reda. I said to the boys at half-time he's the one that has to suffer."

Spoke to him?

"Yeah and I will have another. It's not a reflection on him but we had to go to that change."

It seems fairly obvious he doesn't train very well.

His decision making is terrible. 8 out of 10 times he makes the wrong decision. Loses the ball. He doesn't come on in games because he doesn't provide an outlet, can't retain possession and is fairly ineffective if the opposition is deep.

He put a bit more of a shift in tonight than usual, but that 75% effort.

I am undecided on him, I think he needs a partner to help him out. Oddly enough I thought he and Brewster linked up best.

He needs someone to play off, where as MGW did it all on his own if he had to.

Thought he looked good when he came on v Norwich got to be the fastest player at the club and he does put in good early crosses the thing is we don't play with wingers. To do anything here he has to learn to play in other areas and positions from time to time. I hope he isn't getting downhearted here because he does have something about him. Comparing him to an overweight Mousset really is not called for he has always had that small round build I don't see many players beating him in a foot race. Wrong position for him tonight he would have been better behind Billy & Illy.

Have you seen that photo where Brewster is pulling up his shirt ? His spare tyre is bigger than Khadra's.

Credit where due.

It would have been easier to just leave it. Gutsy effort.

His second half subs were good too. Billy had some involvement in the goal, if only lurking and occupying the defenders. Gave McBurnie as much rest as he could.

Stevens for Fleck and Ozzy to midfield was better than Saturday's.

Clark to CB for Basham and Egan to RCB was also a decent move.

He was probably planning to replace Robbo until Basham's race was run.

Good to get some minutes in all the legs of those that came on.

Anel comes back in. Hopefully Doyle is then fit.

Just needs playing in his preferred position. Will contribute before the end of the season.
We don’t play wingers, which is his best position, based on where he played for Blackburn (or as a second striker).

It was a strange signing in hindsight. Just think he might be one of those who won’t fit here.

Don't get the hatred towards Pearson other than he's an ex-pig... as is our manager BTW.
Pearson always gives an honest view and is one of the few managers to actively call out shit referees.

I thought his comments were fine last night. Slightly bitter towards Khadra where its clear he's annoyed he chose us instead, but he also had digs at his own team not putting us to the sword.

No issues with the piggy twat, from me.

I don't have much issue with Pearson, but Hemmingham asked him if he thought it was almost complimentary that we had to change shape after 30 minutes and he took the opportunity to have a bitter rant about one of our players. Just a bit of an odd take tbh.

Could have said similar about McBurnie, before he was given a run of games and was able to build his confidence. Decision making is something that comes with game time.

The set up yesterday was only going to work if we dominated midfield in the first half, which we didn't. They had much more of the ball for the set up.

Khadra seems to play better, like many when he has space to run into and create. Sadly for him, that number 10 slot is occupied by Berge or Ndiaye, Khadra seems further down that pecking order.

I preseonally think he'll be better starting at home and be an impact away from home. He would've been the ideal replacement for Ndiaye or Billy later on if we'd started with McB and Billy up top with Ndiaye in behind.

Its harsh on Khadra as he's been here since the summer and came in with a lot of hype because of how he played last season at Blackburn. But currently he's not forcing himself into a position to be picked to start each game. It'll come though.

No problem with him being frustrated on the night. It was the biggest smash and grab I can ever recall from us. Even at PL level.

Definite red card for Norwood and Billy Sharp was offside and interfering with play for our goal.
They had a pen shout turned down (rightly), hit the woodwork 2-3 times and had multiple chances to score and somehow didn't.
Even McAtee had a high boot, studs up, late challenge on one of their players. A red would have been harsh but if VAR had been in play it could have been given.

The Khadra comments were totally unnecessary. To critique a player's whole season at another club, to call him "massively disappointing," to question his attitude "not running about" etc. was really bad form and unfair on the lad and PH.
Adding further spice about whether or not "he regrets coming here," on a night where he knows there's going to be pressure on Khadra's relationship with the club... it all just stank to me.

Who sai owt about dropping Illy ??? ..Ndiaye & McBurnie front 2 as at West Brom on Sat , Khadra behind them , Norwood & Doyle as other two midfielders
The manager showed last season hrs adaptable and our best spell was with three number 10's so i dont think hes not accomodating to flair players

Maybe he just wants khadra to do a bit more than the square root of fuck all every time tge ball comes near him

Incredibly unprofessional behaviour, and obvious sour grapes from a pig. He needs to publicly apologise for that. Played for the pigs and comes from Nottingham, so couldn't wait to get a dig in.

Last night was clearly a tactical faux pas with the starting line up. I think Khadra is a good player but he's clearly an out and out winger which doesn't fit into our style of play
