Interesting that Brighton extended his contract before letting him out on loan again. Seems we could have had him for a cut price but he did not fit our system and apparently did not work hard enough, must admit cannot recollect him ever making a tackle and we defend from the front which does not suit him
I remember him chasing back the length of the pitch to recover the ball several times. A very crucial occaision preventing another Blackpool goal toward the end of the game before we equalised. The football gods are as we speak writing the script for him against us at Brum last game.

He had to chase the one against Blackpool. He had just given the ball away.

Mmm. I've seen Norwood and Lundstram give the ball away countless times and make little or no effort to win it back. Norwood is right on top of his game this season so gets a pass out.

People seem to need to go through the motions of being angry about anything they can, and when there is nothing to be angry about they make something up. Sometimes you just lose a game, sometimes a transfer doesn't work out, sometimes a player gets injured. Sometimes you aren't promoted by Christmas. Every negative doesn't need repercussions.

Had a rare listen to radio Sheffield in the car on Saturday and was laughing out loud at some nobhead Rotherham fan they had on furious about some player who'd been out injured for 2 months not starting - "if he's fit enough to be a sub, he's fit enough to start"....what does that even mean? Went on to tell the presenter they were in the clubs back pocket because they didn't want the manager sacked after a handful of games. So many football fans seem to have had their brains turned to mince by all the vacuous discourse surrounding the game.

More and more these days I don't give much thought to what the team is likely to be, who the subs are, what the formation is, who's getting released etc. People with more knowledge of the game than me who see the players every day and have all the info to hand make the decisions and I can live with that and just enjoy watching the game and supporting the team, especially when we are 9 points clear in January.
Well you can stop that kind of sensible, reasoned response - no place for it on this forum my friend! One of the best posts I’ve read for a long while.

I only started watching soccer last week and I know you can't win every game. But if management go to great lengths to sign a player which my Dad says we did and then only really play him out of position or for less time than Moose stayed fit, LOL my Dad said to write that. That makes you wonder what went on in limiting his game time, especially when we had such a lengthy injury list. Dad says we did. Anyway he's gone now and we'll see what happens when he gets to have a go at us last game of the season. Be funny if he stopped us getting autos wouldn't it. My Dad didn't say that I did to annoy him.
Don't suppose Reda Khadra is your dad? Would explain a lot.

Just seen him being respectful and professional towards us on social media. Good to see a player being like this. Sometimes these things don't always work out and sadly for both parties, this didn't.
Following this, I’ve since spoke to a pretty reliable source who says Khadra wasn’t great around the dressing room and he didn’t integrate well with the rest of the players.

Was always going to happen that he would perform elsewhere as he is a very good player, we couldn’t fit him in our system unfortunately with where and how he needed to play.
Yea looking at the formations Birmingham have played with him, it's either right wing in a 4-4-2 which we don't play, or taking Iliman's place which was never gonna happen

Well at least we can replace him now the Jan transfer window is open................oh wait.......

Thought we could still bring loans in, despite the Um Bongo they drink it in the Congo ?
I don’t think we can sign anyone regardless of whether purchase or loan. Further we appear to have no loose cash for a loan either.

True Harry but it begs the question why did we we bring him in then .We knew what kind of player he is and we knew what system we played! If we were never going to play with a winger why sign him on loan?

Maybe it's because he provided something different off the bench?
Maybe no one expected Ndiaye to play really well in every game?

Hard to provide something different off the bench when you aren't brought on, or latterly not even on it.

I thought he looked half decent the couple of times he played down the middle. Either something happened in training or Hecky never really fancied him once he saw him in training as nobody can argue that he was given a chance on tje pitch.

You'll note we're 12 points clear of 3rd place.
