Shit going on the coach, last time was Watford in the Championship as a treat instead of one of us driving and spent 1 1/2 at the motorway services leaving time for a rushed pint near the ground.

Fuck that for a lark.

i was all for driving but i was advised my friends and family driving at 11.30pm if ET & pens happens. wasnt as easy as i thought it would be

I hate everything about Reading FC – their annoying fans, the fact they have goal music in their plastic stadium that’s an arse to get to, they have no redeeming features whatsoever. They are though most satisfying to beat, and lovely for it to be Sharp with the winner.
...and that fucking drum !

They got a few skillful players though. They must have a 3D printer going in the back.
Medium height, black, short dreadlocks.
Let's name this one Pele.

This cup will take some winning, if matches go to form this week, the last eight look strong;

Man City
Man Utd
Chelsea
Spurs
Arsenal
Newcastle
Foxes
Us

Gulp.

Avoid Man City and get a home draw and I fancy us to get through. Definitely nothing to fear.

Only teams we haven't got a result off are Citeh and Newcastle, so avoid Citeh and we've as much chance as anyone assuming we play better than we did tonight.

Don't forget the "You're shit! Ahhhhh!" chants at every goal kick. Reckon they all still listen to cassettes in Reading while they wait to see if CDs are a flash in the pan.

Great win at a championship club that just won 3-0 at the massive..peoples expeectations are going a bit barmy.
We did control the majority of a game that was never going to be a walk over.

yeah i agree. alot like wilder said we know more than most about underdog upsetting the odds in league & cups these last 6 years. raising there game. maybe for just abit expected to be easier because of straightforward nature of our recent league games

Seen a lot of crap on here - particularly about Lunny and Berge being useless - what a load of baloney..

Poitives

We are in the quarters- brilliant
Berge - despite rubbish being talked - looked great in possession- moved the ball well - class act
Osborn- right attitude - played wonderfully
Luke Freeman- Seemed to be loving it to me- was streets ahead of anything else on pitch
Billy- Just what can you say?

Negatives

Only 1- Mousse- Played with no brain and body language awful- showed without doubt he is no 90 minute player- impact sub at best.

Fairly poor performance, but the result is everything.

Osbourn and Freeman were good. Lunny looked better when he dropped into the Norwood role. I thought Sharp was also good when he came on. Making runs and drawing fouls.

I thought one or two looked like they'd used the break to maybe enjoy themselves a little too much.

what ties would be ideal for us if it ends up that way? I'm going with -
Blades v Newcastle
Man Utd v Man City
Spurs v Chelsea
Arsenal v Leicester

2 derbies with weaker teams at home (anything can happen!) and Arsenal at home gives them a chance vs Leicester... I dont think we'd mind either way Newcastle away or home, on this seasons showing... it looks like away might be more favourable!

I actually think Norwich will spring a surprise on Tottenham, and Derby might have a chance against Ole's inept tactics

Agree on Norwich, José's squad is thin and the defence is all over the shop, think there'll be goals from both and Norwich could get more.

Even Brum have a chance considering how poor Leicester have been. If they don't have Vardy they struggle to score, and Hogan is scoring for fun, and players like Bellingham will want to show what they can do to the watching PL teams if playing.

Derby beat Man U last season in the league cup, needed pens though.

Avoiding Man City is the main thing whatever happens.
