FFS is this going to have a negative impact on our game.i.e 11 men behind the ball? your views please

I thought that the "recently manager-less team suddenly start winning games" thing got de-bunked a little while ago.

Doesn't really change anything for us, we will still go to attack them & try to win the game. They're a side in trouble this season it seems & Is a game we really should be winning. Had they not sacked their gaffer, I still think they would try to have as many men behind the ball as possible as that seems to be the way to counter us.

Edit: almost guaranteed for McNumpty to get one for them. Worth a few quid on SkyBet IMO!

If memory serves we tend to do quite well against teams who sack managers before we play them

Southampton had their first game after sacking Hughes last night with the new man watching, how'd that one go?

Hopefully shouldn't change things too much

We have to get back on track and usually do following a defeat - especially one in such a manner of last Saturday

mcnulty nailed on to score as others have said we don't do many clean sheets at all

hoping to see us break the bloody sky vodoo and see a 2/3-1 win -

Goldy , Norwood and Billy with one ( as i am some are questioning him again after not scoring for 4 games and 'only' having 10 so far !!)

We just need someone to create a post about how “Reading are going to get smashed” and we’ve truly fucked it.

Wilder has been talking about Reading a lot recently and I heard he's travelling down there tomorrow - get your bets on now, he's going.
He had an interview in London for the job on Tuesday.

Hope he brings John Swift back with him. He’d be a good alternative to Fleck in that midfield.

I do that a lot. Go to interviews for jobs I’ve no interest in. I do it because I learn stuff about what others are planning. I usually ask for an early morning interview then I can go down the night before, claim my travel and hotel and meals, and have a nice day out in London at someone else’s expense. Maybe Chris fancies something similar and a day out in London to do some Christmas shopping?

What, again? They only sacked Hirst about a month ago.

Lambert seems to be having the same success as Carlos at Swansea. Unless things change it is a case of when not if. Admittedly him going in the next 2 weeks is unlikely but we have previously managed to have 4 managers in a year so anything is possible.

Carlos got off to a really, really good start at Swansea, a feat that Lambert has not even remotely emulated.

Good job you don’t work for McCabe then. He takes offence at that kind of behaviour.

In fairness, it’s only about six months since everyone thought he was leaving United to join a league one team...
That was because someone went on TalkShite saying it was a more or less done deal. Can’t remember who but he was ‘ITK’.

Caretaker manager is former United player Scott Marshall. Further evidence we're going to lose on Saturday?
