Hi can admin put “ gone elsewhere “ on this thread and then close the thread as Lundstrum is not a blade and hasn’t been a blade for at least a year . He had a purple patch in the time he was at Bramall Lane and milked it . Good riddance to him !!

Lundstram stands out because of his complete lack of effort and indifference to our plight last season. We were in a relegation scrap and he was just jogging around the park. Unnecessary fouls, giving the ball away, lack of commitment. His teammates fell short but they were at least trying. I don't understand why CW kept playing him when CW himself was on the rack, tortured by our performances. It's time we put JL out of our minds I agree. But many thought there is still a player there. But with an attitude like his there isn't. And it's interesting to see how his career regresses. It's going to be downhill for Lundstram.

Why do people still go on about a bloke that basically didn't want to play for us from end of 1st season, he just wanted out. The biggest mystery to me was that he would still get picked no matter how shit he was, in previous games he's gone let Rangers have him.

This all beggars the question then why CW wanted, according to him,to make him one of the top earners at the club ?
Could he not see, like all of the fans, how wank he really was..?

Although we've become obsessed by him failing as a fanbase. He's a league one player playing in the champions league.

As poor as lundstams performances were, I can't understand the personal attacks on the player both as our man and now involved with another club. The main point being he didn't pick the team. He was selected, in which he consistently put in a poor performance but continued to be selected week in week out by two different managers. Surely the bigger crime was committed by those who selected him to play, because by doing so they were saying "we are happy with your performance carry on".

I don't think I've ever disliked an ex-United player as much. Leaving aside the whole Terry Curran scenario. Which could be a new thread. Best ex-Pigs Blade? Loved Jeff King. Great player even though he destroyed us '79.
