Yeah but, Deano would have caught it, gone up the other end and smashed it in the top corner![]()

Without question.Yeah but, Deano would have caught it, gone up the other end and smashed it in the top corner![]()
Scott Parker is 100% the next u21 manager....then he'll take over from Southgate. It's the FA fast track scheme, there's a reason he dresses like he does, he's not daft. He’s looking really good. Very pleasing performance so far.
I assume Boothroyd is only still manager because the F.A. are waiting for Parker to get sacked.
Yeah I agree and the two penalties shows everything that’s wrong with modern football.and that yellow card for bellingham shows everything's that's wrong with referees
Skipp was poor, his short back pass led to the penalty also gave the ball away leading to the goalRamsdale MOTM for me albeit he didn’t have much competition. Kept England in the game but I really wish from our point of view that he’d kept a clean sheet. Can’t really fault him at all though.
Deano would have cought it tho eh cock end Bruce!Saved a pen
But Deano is busy warming benches and counting the pound notes not playing for his club or country.Deano would have cought it tho eh cock end Bruce!

Very perceptive Aidy .Insight from Aidy:
“Eddie Nketiah is in esteemed company with Alan Shearer. He is a terrific player and I genuinely think if he can have the career Alan has had, he will have done really well.“
I think that's asking alot there tbhDefinitely a bad decision, but where on earth is Ramsdale going in the first place!? He's got to come and clear that with his left foot and smash it in to the stand.

It was Skipp, the midfielder who made the poor backpassIf a centre half takes the long route to the ball to clear it on his stronger foot, and completely misses everything without even getting a tackle in, you're giving him pelters.
Obviously I'm not blaming him for the penalty, it wasn't one and the defender has give him a right hospital ball. But that's shocking defending from Rammers I'm afraid. Speaking as a defender myself you cannot do that as the last man (or any man to be honest).
Ramsdale couldn't handle it as it was a backpass. He's slow of his line though the suggestion above that he should have cleared it into the stand with his left foot is bewildering - why let it come across his body to clear it with his weaker foot?Must admit that I initially thought that Ramsdale was slow to react and was suprised that he did not dive at the forwards feet, mind it may have provided him with an excuse for a more theatrical fall.
That said, that was a particularly special decision straight out of the Rob Styles/Steven Gerrard book.
