Suspect he might just get a clean sheet tonight! 😆

What an idiot. Going to Arsenal to sit on their bench just for the money. He should think about his career. He'll never play for England now.

I'm no expert but I should imagine once you're established at a top PL club a variety of doors open up into the world of how to get yourself through the minefield of being in the media eye.
Obviously some players don't take a blind bit of notice, but Rammers, I think will be taking it on board, and his current mindset has got him to England no.1, albeit temporary for now

Fabulous achievement for him, he was at times very dubious when he first arrived and looked like we had another poor expensive signing
But after Xmas he was excellent and made a number of fantastic saves, great the move to Arsenal is working out for him.
Appears to be a great guy as well

Fact is he was absolute pants in all aspects of his game for the first 25 games of last season (not alone there though). During that time, relegation was more or less decided. Egan probably got in the way of more shots that Ramsdale did. He played a very large part in us going down. Don't really get the love-in that's going on for him now....

Point taken AB, but obviously Arsenal could see further into his future than all of us. Might be fair to say GKs have different mindsets to an out field player, maybe Arsenal saw this turned negative thoughts to positive and we're seeing the results, just saying like.

I am more bothered about the cashback we are due from Arsenal.

Good to see him get his debut and what strength of character from him, after the first half to last season. Was pleased that he actually got tested and was forced into a good save; must be have been boring for him otherwise!

I think it's a fantastic endorsement of our club that Ramsdale, Maguire, Walker and DCL all started their careers with us. What a great advert to young kids wanting to make their way in the game that there are numerous examples of players who have come through our academy and become England internationals. You could also add Brooks for Wales too.

How many internationals have our neighbours produced over the last 10 to 20 years?

You can add in Che Adams and Conor Coady with strong connections

Watch those 25 games again and see if your recollection of his performances is in any way accurate.
He made one or two mistakes, but certainly was not “a large part in us going down” !!

My memory might be playing tricks, but I do seem to remember a significant number of goals we conceded, were deflections of defenders trying to block shots
