Raheem Sterling

That does only work on the assumption that Man City are spending £50 Million on a player and won't play him, which is also pretty ridiculous.
Delph I could see it, for £7 million they can bench him and the board won't care, but if they do it with Sterling there will be serious questions asked.

I actually think this move means he'll get more game time, because they can't be seen to bench him, but the proof will be in the pudding and injuries permitting I think he'll play 35-40 games this season which is on par with the top players at City.
Delph could see he was going to struggle to get in, he did the right thing in not signing.

Don't let the £50 million price tag fool you, Man Shity have to have a certain amount of British players in their squad, they're struggling at the minute and that's one of the reasons they've just given a youngster at CB a 5 year contract. The transfer fee for Sterling is pocket change to Mansoor who wants to be seen splashing the cash this season as they didn't do it last season and it cost them somewhat, although if Sterling is worth that after what he's done so far then i'll stand hanging but good luck to the twat:)

I think he'll prove many wrong and play consistently this season.
Man City rotate but I still think he'll play 35-40 games which would be good for his development. Delph I'm not quite sure he'd be in that position.

I think Sterling is an exciting young prospect , but 49 million , its maybe 20 million too much

You have to now on fee alone compare him with Ronaldo, now
and its a different gravy, the gulf is immense
