Aside from all the stupidity of the name as others have pointed out, I think you're missing why Boxing Day and Bouncing Day were significant.

In both cases, the winning team was the unfancied one, and in both cases the result signified a swing in the relative fortunes of the two clubs.

The absolute last thing we want tomorrow is anything that harks to either result. If we win, it's businesslike and of minimal significance, while if they win we put it down to experience and get back to winning ways against Coventry. Don't give those twatwaffles the time of day, whatever the outcome.
