from Blackwell on RS. 'You have to be big, strong and mental to be play for the Blades'. And he didn't bother to correct himself. Almost crashed the car. Also Ward was quite funny answering questions and seemed to think that Andy(?) was taking the P rather than praising him.

I think that the final part of Blackwell's description though is pretty accurate for the fans.

Also, based on the complete unpredictability of this league I can see us finishing sixth on the last day with a win and others around us losing and then we win at Wembley 4-0 - and that's after one cider.

Wardy's interview was quite funny, a nice refreshing change from the boring media trained cliche ridden premiership footballers. It just sounded like the BBC had ambled into the Bull Ring and asked a random chav (no offence jamie) a few questions.

agree with that

I don't think he used one cliche in the whole interview. It really was quite different to all of the other interviews you hear. Just how much better it would be if players managers and politicians actually said what they thought - obviously avoiding all of the 'ists' that exist. Or maybe that's why interviews are always so bland because they know that every word is carefully scrutinised by the PC police.

The 3 interviews (Blackwell, Ward and Geary) were fantastic. Ward sounded like an extra from a Brummie version of Kidulthood. He made no attempt whatsoever to disguise his contempt for Seth Bennett.

SB in usual full on patronising mode: Here comes Jamie Ward with his bottle of man of the match champagne. Is it a decent bottle Jamie?
JW: Don't know, can't stand the stuff
SB: Oh, what will you do with it then?
JW: Put it in the cupboard.

He got very spiky when asked about the style of play basically saying 'who cares, it's all about results'. I've been told that he speaks very highly of Blackwell and I thought it came across that he appreciates what Blackwell has done for him and will stick up for him when he thinks he's being criticised.

Sure Blackwell said all 9 loanees' deals were now up. That can't be right can it?

Not sure about all loanees

but Andy off RS said that he had seen Bunn leaving the dressing room with his shirt signed by the team. This could be bad news because I think that he's got his confidence back and could be a decent keeper although a little small and light. I also think that the defence now trust him which clearly wasn't the case in his first few games. We need another keeper and I'd rather keep him than get in some complete stranger and start all over again.

Doesn't matter if the defence trust him or not now because it looks like it will be virtually a whole new defence.

How do we know that that isn't for a new year thing and charity? Game worn keeper shirt for a raffle, it's why I can't stand two bit reporters, radio sheff have done themselves no favours with the club.

They won't get many exclusives because of it, and any speculation will never fully be answered by the club.

On a positive note, the quote from Blackwell is funny, and possibly intended!

That's what I like

...always end on a positive. Perhaps we could make this a new rule for the forum - slag off and moan all you want but end on a positive.

But maybe as Blades we are so used to ending on a negative (play offs, semis etc) that that is how we deal with life in general. Perhaps McCabe could pay for us all to have therapy.

Sign Harper, get a keeper on loan with Naughton, Walker and try for Bale.
That leaves one more loanee for a striker and unless we get a silly bid keep Killa till the summer.
