Ben Osborn lives in the roundhouse opposite the Nortfolk arms on Ringinglow Road

Yusuf, our mysterious chairman lives in that haunted house in Nether Edge. Spring Leigh, you know the overgrown mansion with the lightbulb that’s always on.

John Egan and Enda live above Fagans.

Tom and I played for the same Rugby Union team at De La Salle back in the 60s. I was lock (No 4) and he was No 8 in the old 3-4-1 formation

Been an Anston bloke I was lucky as a lad to gave deano , Simon tracey, Ian bryson and John Gannon all living 5 mins from where I lived. I'd regularly see them on Greenlands park

John Gannon definitely lives at Bradway.

I worked at the Archer Road Sainsburys and quite a few Blades and Wendy players came in there in the early nineties suggesting they lived in the surrounding area. Hoyland, Gayle and Pemberton came in regularly as did Waddle.

I know Gayle was renting a house on Westwick Road at Greenhill/Bradway and Ady Littlejohn actually lived next door to my parents on Moorview Road at Woodseats. When Littlejohn moved, he asked me to save him some boxes at work which he collected with Nathan Blake. Can confirm that Blake was an arrogant cunt.

Be surprised if JOC commuted from Liverpool.
I know some players travel from east midlands a bit such as Nottingham or Derby. Liverpool seems a bit too far when your in training at 730am.
He lives in Manchester with Alex greenwood’s.

Jon Stead lives near me, in a big fuck off farmhouse up on the moors between Sheffield and Udders. Up there, it blows like Moose in a pre-match warm up. Summer was on a Thursday last year if I remember.....

Tony Currie, Len Badger, Ted Hemsley, John Hope, Mick Speight, Colin Franks, Paul Tomlinson, David Sunley, Brian Joicey, Jeff Johnson, Gary Bannister, Peter Springett, Simon Tracey , Vinnie Jones, Kevin Gage, Vas Borbokis, Gareth Taylor, Paul Beesley, Howard Kendall (manager), Jake Wright, Kevin Pressman, Mel Sterland. Mick Heaton lived in Coal Aston and Mitch Ward in Troway
Ahh Silent.... Troway! Growing up on the Gleadless Valley and getting my first car, The Gate at Troway would be the place to drive some lass who seemed up for it, buy her a couple of Cherry Bs, and try to get a jump in the pitch black car park afterwards. Heady days! Paradise by the dashboard light.......
