Only a snippet, but Leeds apparantly close to his signature for a fee of £500k

Suppose it makes sense with Snodgrass just leaving

Bit gutted if true, as it was just looking like the squad was taking shape, but deep down he is probably our most saleable asset, but we all knew there were still someone to go in order to get the wage bill down

£500k tho? I had him in the £750k bracket minimum, with all his champiojnship and premiership experience and the fact he's still under contract.

Only a season left though and he's on huge wages so happy to get him off the wage bill for that if true.

He's so in and out that I'll be sad to see him go but not gutted.

A shame as he was top for assists for League 1.
We must be careful about who we sign (if anyone) as his replacement.

Mixed feelings, I really thought he was going to make a difference last season the way he started and was outstanding in several games but as others have said, went missing for periods in the season (the cynics would say in and around transfer window). Anyone who saw his Wembley post match interview knows what this club means to him.

Financially, has to happen and I'd hope DW has a plan.

Unfortunately he has to go, we can't afford his wages in this division.

Just Monty and Cresswell to go then let us hope we never get this situation again

Cressy will go nowhere- Who would take him??
Think we have to accept that he will stay this season.

I would rather have Quinny staying as well to be honest. Inconsistant to a degree and one footed but still more dependable than a lot that we saw last season.

It's Monty that needs to go out of the three of em for me but money talks and if DW thinks he can do better with the money (if he see's any of it) then all well and good.

Has to go, nothing against Quinny he's not worth his wage to us IMO.

If he was more consistent and grabbed more games by the scruff of the neck then maybe, only maybe, would he be worth fighting to keep hold of.

Who'd have thought a few years ago that bankrupt Leeds would be buying our players because "well run" SUFC cannot afford their wages.

I do wish administration was a harsher punishment than it currently is. :)
