I think he is a dreadful player, and I also saw him backing out of challenges on Sat .He shirks routinely and points the finger at young players.
He cant run with or without the ball, cant head shoot or send in a cross.

It's certainly not just here, in fact in the past it's been more the opposite.

Someone on John Street was abusing him early in the second half on Saturday and he turned round and told them to fuck off. He's just one of those that will always be targeted regardless of form, probably more down to the fact he's one of the longest serving left at the club than anything.

Like you say, his effort can't be faulted, whatever people say about his demeanor, the stats back up the fact he covers a lot of ground. He's also chipped in with plenty of assists this year. Better leaving the corners to Flynn though

He is in general having a poor season, you will always get a few flashes of something good and yes as a midfielder there are going to be assists on his stats, you have to watch a game to get a feel for how a player is performing, not just rely on stats.

There is a lot of improvement required from Quinny, dead balls are really not having any effect at all and he's really struggling to get the ball in the air, cut out the flicks to nobody, we are now a team who keep possession and don't play the percentages, track back when he's lost the ball instead of standing there looking gutted, oh and try using your other foot sometimes to kick the ball.

I feel a spell on the bench along with a chat may have a good effect!

This is exactly the problem why Quinn is not good enough ,on an offfensive basis he loses the ball far more than any other player with silly flicks ,checking back so we lose momentum , losing it because he isn't good enough at dribbling and simply going out of position. On a defensive basis he doesn't support his full back at all ,takes an age to get up when he falls on the ground and hides frequently. He has ability on the ball but is very one footed and added to it the attitude problem with the constant slagging of teammates in my opinion is the weak link in our team.

What gives the fans the right to abuse a player? And before you say "they are paying his wages", if you thought the local hospital was not doing a good job of treating your granny, would that give you a right to go down to the hospital and call a doctor a "fucking useless cunt"?

Actually there is. Calling, say, Quinn "a fucking useless cunt" probably falls foul of S5 of the Public Order Act 1986 in being abusive, threatening or insulting words likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.

It was actually Quinny at Blackpool, Morgs just got involved in the situation. With that example, as I said at the time, I don't think they should do it, but I totally agreed with Quinny on that occasion.

The abuse he got (actually not just him, but his family too), was ridiculous... then he has a pop back and is crucified.

He certainly could improve (he's shown so much more in the past), but he's still chipping in with assists.
