Never really got going last night (his corners were particularly disdappointing) and he had a major strop on when he left the pitch at the end of the game, ignoring a prompt to acknowledge the fans / opposition and storming down the tunnel. Did I miss something or was he just frustrated at his own performance?

Quinny has to learn to take the rough with the smooth. Its all right badge kissing when things are going well, but his strop was not necessary. The crowd were clearly frustrated by his continual inability to take a corner effectively, and not his lack of effort (although I thought it was probably his worst performance of the season in which he has set his own standard so high). The players that had the balls to come and clap the crowd got a pretty good reception, I thought.

An absolute disgrace from a 'professional footballer'. What the hell do they practice in training. His corners have been terrible lately especially last night and at Scunthorpe. Had this conversation last night one of my mates thinks that hes supposed to put them there but the player who is supposed to get in front of the first defender is not doing his job. To be honest, over the season so far, I do think our corners have been much improved.

However, in the last two-matches they've been back to normal.

Did he hit all of them towards the first post? That would be strange, although if Huddersfield were bigger and stronger than us, hitting them with pace is often the best idea as it favours players who are good at attacking the ball/getting in front of markers, rather than players who can jump highest. Thought we lacked height in midfield with Flynn, Williamson, Doyle and Quinn.

Although the corners were shit, why did none of our players take the drastic step of actually thinking and make an effort to run to the same spot that every pissing corner had gone as Quinny was kicking it?

Every corner lands near front the post, somebody runs to the front post, we get a chance. Seems simple to me, but I'm not a footballer, so what do I know?

Tony Agana was saying that the one thing guaranteed to get a poor performance out of a player is to boo them. You might say they ought to be able to take it considering the wages they're on, but money doesn't stop them being human and booing them just makes them worse, not better. I'm more inclined to believe Agana than any fan, so boo all you like just don't expect Quinny to improve if you do.

i think he was just disappointed like the rest of us.. i don't think anyone was booing quinn personally per se.. but the fact that we can't take a bloody corner (or defend one)..he has undoubtedly been our best player this season and most of last.. if he was guilty of anything it was simply trying too hard and attempting to beat huddersfield by himself.. he obviously cares a great deal about the club (and i used to slag him to death btw)

The fact that every single corner and freekick lacked any kind of thought or dangerous placement was just not good enough of any professional footballer. I didn't full on boo Quinny, but every fan in the ground could see there was little plan and no success from what he was trying to do. I would say chunters and dismissing his efforts described most of what was expressed around me. When you're several goals down and still incapable of causing danger for their defence then the writing is on the wall for the result. It usually takes the shift in agression by scoring from a set-piece to regain momentum to pull yourself back into a game. Once it became clear that this wasn't ever going to happen and Ched's efforts to try and walk the ball into the next also failed our options were all but exhausted. Huddersfield were not good, they were strong and were allowed to express that strength. We capitulated and it took an edge off of every players game. So Quinny took too much on himself to pull us back in. Not even the real Messi could've done that on his own!

He's amazing remember! I think the other night showed that alot of our players have found their level and that is good league 1 players! S. Quinn being one of them!

Personally dont think booing any player ever helps the team. I think confidence and belief in yourself and your team mates is vital and i know Wilson keeps talking about this alot. Keep hearing the arguement that they are on good money but im sure this dosent help one bit when it comes to self belief
