Has anybody branded Nigel Adkins absolutely stupid for letting Collins go whilst our squad is beginning to threadbare?

No, because you don't pass up an opportunity to get rid of that non-descript footballer.Has anybody branded Nigel Adkins absolutely stupid for letting Collins go whilst our squad is beginning to threadbare?

I'd take him on a fucking pedalo. No, because you don't pass up an opportunity to get rid of that non-descript footballer.
If it was a choice between playing Flynn and Reed at centre half or driving to Tampa myself to drop Collins off I'd be half way across the Atlantic by now.
He's probably on £8k a week minimum.Well, he's been terrible, his arrival coincided with our fall and consolidation to a league one club, a major factor in our failure no doubt, but.. The timings a bit off for me.. I would have retained till end of season and just cancelled the contract then...
Yes. They're all spineless cunts until they leave. Is there where some people suddenly decide Collins was the best center half in the country now he's left us?
You'd have sunk before you got off the beach though. If it was a choice between playing Flynn and Reed at centre half or driving to Tampa myself to drop Collins off I'd be half way across the Atlantic by now.
Then Collins would start crying again. You'd have sunk before you got off the beach though.

We all loved him on Valentine's Day 2012,he scored the only goal v Huddersfield away, went 2nd in the league above Wednesday, where did it all go so wrong?
Ah, but that means Collins would have sunk with me so he couldn't play for us again, same end productYou'd have sunk before you got off the beach though.

What is the point in paying up a player when he's out of contract in a few months and we could have used him where needed untill then? Mind bogglingly silly.
Close enough Mr Brownie?
I'm going to hazard a guess that's the post he was talking about..
Close enough Mr Brownie?
Can't say that I'm a fan but after seeing the goals that we conceded at Fleetwood the words frying pan and fire spring to mind....Has anybody branded Nigel Adkins absolutely stupid for letting Collins go whilst our squad is beginning to threadbare?

Neill saved the day v Southend at home, and in other matches. Good luck Neill.Well, he's been terrible, his arrival coincided with our fall and consolidation to a league one club, a major factor in our failure no doubt, but.. The timings a bit off for me.. With respect, the loan spell ought to have been the end of it , the fact that it wasn't is a sign of poor management all round.I don't think I've ever "loved" him and my view lately has been similar to that of a five month old Brie sitting at the back of the fridge. Try as you like, you can't shift it and it stinks the place out.
However, now he's gone I for one wish him well for the future. This parting of the ways really should have happened years ago though.
The curse of the bloody iPhone autocorrectGood to see you writing like a Yank 'center' as opposed to 'centre'. Perhaps he is off to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.![]()
