Has anybody branded Nigel Adkins absolutely stupid for letting Collins go whilst our squad is beginning to threadbare?

No, because you don't pass up an opportunity to get rid of that non-descript footballer.

If it was a choice between playing Flynn and Reed at centre half or driving to Tampa myself to drop Collins off I'd be half way across the Atlantic by now.

I'd take him on a fucking pedalo.

Well, he's been terrible, his arrival coincided with our fall and consolidation to a league one club, a major factor in our failure no doubt, but.. The timings a bit off for me.. I would have retained till end of season and just cancelled the contract then...

He's probably on £8k a week minimum.

You'd have sunk before you got off the beach though.

I don't think I've ever "loved" him and my view lately has been similar to that of a five month old Brie sitting at the back of the fridge. Try as you like, you can't shift it and it stinks the place out.

However, now he's gone I for one wish him well for the future. This parting of the ways really should have happened years ago though.

Close enough Mr Brownie?

What is the point in paying up a player when he's out of contract in a few months and we could have used him where needed untill then? Mind bogglingly silly.

Can't say that I'm a fan but after seeing the goals that we conceded at Fleetwood the words frying pan and fire spring to mind....

Neill saved the day v Southend at home, and in other matches. Good luck Neill.

With respect, the loan spell ought to have been the end of it , the fact that it wasn't is a sign of poor management all round.
