I'm after a bit of help. Would anyone be able to tell me...

1 - In what minutes the goals were scored in our match at Leicester that day?

2 - In what minutes Forest scored their goals against the grunters that day?

3 - In what minutes the goals in the Derby vs Luton match were scored that day?

Bit of a long shot with the last couple, but thanks in advance.

I've got a copy of The Green 'Un for that day. It's in the loft.
CBA to go up there now.
Might get me saggy Arse in gear at some stage and tek a look fo' thee.

Unless that Silent feller ghosts in and sorts it first
You go ahead as I do not know the minutes of the goals scored

What I do remember about that day is that due to the injury to Leicester's ex piggy keeper Hodge our match was about 8-10 minutes behind everyone else, we had a radio with us, mainly to keep an ear on the Leeds and Newcastle games, so knew the pigs were down well before our game finished

Sorry, WalthamstowBlade
I did check in the loft but where I thought it was it turned out to be the programme from the 2-0 derby win November 17th 1991 together with the Start and Telegraph reports on the game.

I do have that Green'Un somewhere.
Just can't get a handle on it yet.

4 - In what minute was the "goal" announced at the Sty that made the grunters think they had stopped up?

My recollection was that the whole ground went silent when the announcer went through the final results. The Derby Luton score was greeted by a cheer. We knew Wednesday were losing at half-time. The announcer read out "Sheffield Wednesday 0.. " and we didn't hear the Forest score because it was drowned out by huge cheers.

I have the Green Un from that day (except the front and back page! Damn it!) and I will check for you later today when I get my hands on it.

I have a copy of The Green 'Un, Walthamstow, but the format in May 1990 didn't list the minutes when the goals were scored beneath the result.

That said, the actual match reports contain the details.

1. Tony Pritchett's report "Goalden Day for the Blades" records the goals as:
9 minutes 1-0 (Mills)
17 minutes 1-1 (Wood)
21 minutes 1-2 (Deane)
35 minutes 1-3 (Agana)
40 minutes 1-4 (Rostron)
45 minutes 2-4 (North)
80 minutes 2-5 (Agana)

2. Piggy Thompson's report "Home Gloom as Owls Fail" records the goals as:
10 minutes 0-1 (Pearce)
65 minutes 0-2 (Pearce)
83 minutes 0-3 (Jemson)

3. Underneath an unattributed report from Derby "Its a Black day for Wednesday" records the goals as:
2 minutes 0-1 (Breacker)
18 minutes 0-2 (Black)
30 minutes 1-2 (Wright)
45 minutes 2-2 (Williams)
74 minutes 2-3 (Black)

Lovely stuff.

Didn't realize Kingsley Black scored twice! He joined us 5 years later
