Can any legal eagles or finance gurus on here help?

Since KM moved the football club assets out of the football club, I understood he was to charge the club rent

I was always under the impression this was/is a nominal amount per annum

Does anyone actually know what that fee is?

Is there anything listed in the last set of accounts that tells us?

Hello B58,

I have seen the 2013 accounts and within these there is note headed "Related Parties" this note is required to disclosure material transactions between the directors, associated companies of the directors etc. of transactions between these individuals and entities and the SUFC plc company.

The note included the following entry;

"The Group leases land under operating lease from Scarborough Group Foundation. Annual rental amounts are £60,000."

It does not say what land and or buildings are leased but the annual rent charge of £60,000 if this relates to Bramall Lane there is no doubt it is a nominal amount.

Coventry who left the Ricoh arena were reportedly paying £1.2m pa in rent.

Out of interest the note also lists interest paid/accrued on various loans during the year of £1.348m. In perspective this is one third of club gate receipts! Gulp. It is no wonder the accounts showed trading losses!
