Noone interested in this fucker? Wrote off as a defeat already? Or just two weeks without footy and forgot about United? Apathetic as we are sure to go down? Ot roo busy planning mothers day, shopping at Meadowhall, laying turf in the agrden or building a shed?

Come on then:

- line ups
- predictions
- in match banter
- reactions

Reit, i'll start :D

Shunt change a winning team (other than Hendo in as Vokes has gone). Easy as that Mickey. Please don't bring Collins back in!? N whilst that darn here, cum n giz n and wi mi shed or weekend :D

Prediction: 1-1 darw. Aye, I reckon we'll get a hard fought point here

A few London Blades (and maybe some still living in South Yorks) will be meetng for a beer on Monday evening. See thread http://www.s24su.com/showthread.php?22615-QPR-vs-Blades-meet-up&p=324148#post324148

Echo your thoughts here Olle, the only change has to be Hendo in place of Vokes for obvious reasons!

DO NOT CHANGE A WINNING SIDE MICKY!

I've used the opportunity of a Blades free weekend to get our lass out to sunny Zug so I've hardly even switched the laptop on all weekend - Except to get my iTunes library up last night to get some music on whilst we sat on the Balcony with a chilled bottle of Prosecco watching the sun go down over the Alps :)

I'm looking forward to this one with a little intrigue. The Palace result didn't exactly go our way, so that puts the pressure on - can we cope? Perhaps Palace won't be the team that gets dragged into it in the end as there are others who seem to be making a real attempt to get relegated. We just need to put that all important run together.

Onto the game tonight. Take away the fact that we don't play well on TV and haven't played well almost without exception all season, it looks nailed on for a defeat.

But we'll have to see what United team turns up! If its the one that beat Leeds then we have a chance. QPR are far from unbeatable, they've been undone a few times this season and taking the Forest and Leeds games as a guide, we could well cause an upset in this one.

So my recipe for having the best chance of getting a result:

- Collins must NOT start. Lowton and Lowry will do a job.
- 4-4-2 - Start Ched and Hendo. Hendo should run himself into the ground. He owes us.
- Discipline: It'll be a battle but lets not be stupid.
- Discipline: Keep the shape, especially in the back four
- Discipline: Make sure we can defend the set pieces or anything thrown into the box
- Leave Riise on the bench first half, perhaps start with Yeates and give him his (last?) chance to prove himself. Riise can make an impact.

Bent should be fit now (surely), Boggy should be raring to go from the bench. We have the firepower in reserve and they must be ready.

Score prediction.... its United, I can't make a prediction

We're seven points adrift.....we simply have to go for it. I am not one for changing a winning side but for this game I agree with Swiss, we should set up in a 4-4-2 but keep the personnel largely the same. I would lineup as follows:-

Simonsen
Nosworthy, Lowton, Lowry, Mattock
Riise, Montgomery, Doyle, Quinn
Evans, Bogdanovic

I feel it would be unfair to drop either Ched or Boggy for this as they both put in a great shift against Leeds and deserve to keep their places. If we play Hendo from the start he will instantly get involved in a wrestling match with their big defenders. I think he would make far more impact coming on in the second half when a more mobile Ched and Boggy have tired their defenders out a little. I like Hendo but I think we should use him as an impact player in this one.

With the same drive and effort as we showed against Leeds we can give this lot a game and I wouldn't rule anything out. My honest prediction - Blades to put in a brave performance but fall short.

Simonsen
Nosworthy, Lowton, Lowry, Mattock
Yeates, Montgomery, Doyle, Quinn
Evans, Hendo

Bench: Riise, Boggy, Bent, Cresswell, Parrino, Collins, Aksulu

I want to have an "impact" player on the bench for when Hendo runs out of legs, but I feel that we need him to start for the physical side

Oh and can someone check the number of loanees on the team sheet BEFORE we submit it to the ref!

Blades: Simonsen, Nosworthy, Montgomery, Henderson, Doyle, Evans, Bogdanovic, Mattock, Collins, Quinn, Lowton.
Subs: Yeates, Aksalu, Cresswell, Kozluk, McAllister, Bent, Riise.

Apparently Lowry's injured :( So Collins comes back in. He just better not fcuk up!

4-3-3 though, so credit to Micky for at least having a go.... Would've liked to have seen 4-4-2 with a winger, but the midfield that got a lot of praise v Leeds stays the same...

Discipline please United and YES that includes you Hendo!!!

Time for a spanking I think. Pace will outdo us.
Smith and Helguson always score against us.

Collins needs to show something he hasn't done so far in a Blades shirt. Not sure he has it in him.

Well considering there's Collins & nos in defence I think we're doing well to be at 0-0 after 25 minutes

Lovely marking by nosworthy. Absolute fucking shithouse

Both him and Collins were ball watching, sums up the defending of most of the season. this could get ugly on the evidence of the first 30 mins.

Collins played them on and Nos was ball watching again. F'kin liability.
