I recall the home game of the 05/06 promotion season where we just didn't seem to want to beat QPR. I think Ian Holloway was Manager, Paul Ifill missed a penalty and Paul Furlong got the winner.

The only thing I definitely remember is walking out of the ground disappointed that we lost to such a poor side.

For those who remember MOTD back in the 60s/70s when they only showed the highlights of about 2 or 3 games per episode, QPR were on very regular. The BBC studios were conveniently very close by.

Sat in the lower tier just behind the goal. Katchouro got sent off I think.

There used to be a click of about six lads who went to most every away game and they were always singing, always pissing about and always pissed and having fun. Anyway, they were sat close by and started to rip into a young steward sat on his stool behind the goal.

One said he looked like Frankie Dettori

"Frankeh ... Det-ooor-eh!" went the chant. For ages.

Then he turned, smiled and waved at them.

Then they just slung neat shit at him. I was pissing myself!
