As cunning plans go, you have to tip your hat to them. They’ve obviously deliberately done it when they know half our team will already be on the beach with the season over![]()
Followed by Bournemouth. We'll probably be out of the play off reckoning by then but we can damage theirs, should be 2 very tasty games.5 April, they’re taking the mick!
What other available date was available to us ?They’ve obviously deliberately done it when they know half our team will already be on the beach with the season over![]()
I was joking. I don’t care, as long as it’s this season it’s a nothing game anyway. What other available date was available to us ?
The game was cancelled on 12 December, which means that all free weeks were available at that time for the rescheduled game. We played Preston on Tuesday and QPR haven’t had a game midweek, so this date was available IF they had not had ulterior reasons for not playing then. Why ?
Maybe United chose to play Preston and wanted QPR later on in the season. Just as likely as any other explanation. The game was cancelled on 12 December, which means that all free weeks were available at that time for the rescheduled game. Apart from that games are supposed to be rescheduled within 7 days and the Preston game wasn’t postponed until 14 days later.Maybe United chose to play Preston and wanted QPR later on in the season. Just as likely as any other explanation.
I cannot see where there is an obligation to reschedule within 7 days, especially where one side has COVID cases.Apart from that games are supposed to be rescheduled within 7 days and the Preston game wasn’t postponed until 14 days later.
In accordance with Regulation 28.1, postponed fixtures must be re-arranged at the earliest reasonable opportunity and be agreed within seven days of the postponement. It is accepted that there are some circumstances where it is beneficial to delay the re-dating of matches.I cannot see where there is an obligation to reschedule within 7 days, especially where one side has COVID cases.
