Interesting proposition BB, not sure how one quantifies a 'greater' sense of humour....obviously my attempt at some type of ironic comment fell on dry land, but the forum being what it is I will have other chances to perfect my excursions into pastiche and sardonicism.

To be fair itsinyerblood I think he may have a point....and yes I did have a giggle.

I must try to be more earnest and only post with the utmost gravitas in future.

Ooooh no MB, do not give in to grave tendencies.....lift yer skirt mate, throw in a few humorous bon mots, we could do with 'em.....after what happened in Charleston I want to see a side to life that isn't neurotic and cruel. Seriously, I was jesting with the comment about the other Chris Morgan, I really, really was, honest injun.

Sardonic. Love it, I've been clutching into thin air trying to drag that from my now failing vocabulary bank for the last two weeks since someone on FB asked me if I was 'being ironic'.

I wasn't, like Alannis Morisette, the only irony was the misuse of the word 'ironic'.
