.......and get that clown Bogle back on the bench.
Surely we can find someone to fill in for Lowe if he is out for a while.
Baldock has been great since returning from injury and switching him to the other side of the park is detrimental to our play and takes something away.
I'm not a fan of Lowe either but i suppose he's all we have until RND get's back.
Sort it Hecky.

Can we assume Enda is done for the season as well?

Robinson did alright at wing-back in one of his earliest appearances (maybe Milwall in the cup a few years ago), so trying him there while Clark is available isn't a bad idea.
Even if we stick with Bogle in the team, I'd swap their sides so Baldock is up the right, Bogle might just stick to the basics on his wrong side.
If Lowe is fit, Bogle can have a seat.

Tend to agree. No point shuntering Baldock around to accommodate Bogle.

Bogle was a bit of a waste of a shirt.

If Hecky had known how little he would contribute he'd have been better keeping Robbo on.

That cross, given the limited ball we had, was Kozlukesque vs Port Vale.

Poor, poor team selection.

The number of times that certain professional managers lose a player - weakening one area of the team - and then voluntarily weaken another part of the side by moving a player out of a functioning area of the side to cover that absence rather than make a one-for-one change, is bewildering.

The right side was a problem for weeks with Bogle in a trough of form. It simply wasn’t working and Bogle was weak defensively. Then, the Luton non-performance almost gave Hecky no option but to change and select the side that many fans were demanding, Baldock came back in.

Immediately, the right side of the defence was solid and we looked immeasurably better going forward on that side. Baldock isn’t just a better defender than Bogle, but he also makes Anel and Berge play better. The 3 of them have a good understanding where as Berge and, particularly, Anel seem to have no idea what Bogle is going to do from one minute to the next.

Moving Baldock cover for Lowe’s illness in these last 2 games, has been really poor management. Especially, as a left-footed defender - Clark - has been available to make a like-for-like change.

Last night, Hecky compounded the selection error by missing a chance to correct it after the sending-off. He hooked Robinson in a tantrum, when the better change would have been to remove Bogle, and switch Baldock to the right. That would have made us a much more solid proposition.

Absolutely agree

bogle is trying to play like illiman tricks and flicks but hes not good enough he needs to get back to basics baldock will be back at rwb against cardiff like another poster has said baldock anel and berge have a great understanding down that right flank

Clarke is a like for like replacement for Lowe? Tell a Newcastle fan that and they'd die laughing. There was no like for like change possible. Moving Robbo to LWB and playing Clarke LCB has the same amount of square pegs in round holes.

Arguably it still would have been the better decision as many are suggesting, but that it's as clear as you make it sound is just silly.

For those calling for Robbo to play at LWB, have you not seen how slow his acceleration is? Wingers easily get round him. Playing WB is the most physically stressful position on the pitch. Do you really see Robbo bombing up and down the wing for 90 minutes? Bash could probably do it at this level a year or two ago, but unlikely now unless he's mainly back.

As for 33 year old knackered hamstring Clark at LWB, it's hardly worth meriting a response.

We can't start Bogle currently, even if it means Robinson at LWB

It's about time we got some value out of Clark as well

In this case, just make sure McAtee is on the pitch, on the left side

Agree with the opening sentiment but we have limited options at LWB - RND long term injured, Enda injured, Lowe ill and Osborn accident (self inflicted). Any one of those 4 would have been better than asking George to switch to the left and if he had been on the right they wouldn’t have scored either goal last night.
