Geoff Salmons looked chubby in his 2nd spell with us. Colin Franks and Steve Faulkner had quite large bellies for a footballer. Heard that Faulkner is now about as fat as Larry Lloyd.

Looking at Blades squad photos during the Edwardian years, Harry Thickett and Fred Priest looked podgy late in their Lane playing careers. I think both died in their 40s. Jack Chisholm (1949-50) looked very heavy too

Larry lloyd are you having a laugh!!!! Steve faulkner is my dad and i can assure u he aint fat he plays golf every day and he would not appricate u saying that and neither do i!!!!
