Apologies if this has been posted already. Are there any pubs or areas that blades fans are heading to that arent in the direct vicinity around wembley? I'm heading to Harrow to drop my car off first but then probably looking for another place to drink before hitting Wembley Way

Plenty discussed in the Travel forum

I'm going to have a long afternoon in London on the Friday. Arriving at Victoria coach station at about 1pm. Wouldn't mind trying a few traditional pubs, if anyone can recommend?? I know I will get ripped!

CBF is what you need. I'd imagine Ball_Sup (Phil) can suggest a few.
FFS. I'm always nervous. Because what constitutes a good pub to one person can/will be a hellhole to others. At least blackydog has stipulated "traditional". I like to help. So I'll have a think. Remember, the better the specification, the better the recommendation.

If I remember correctly I never ever even got to the Green Man. I used to spend most of my time on the grass bank/ roundabout opposite Tesco , back to Tesco for more alcohol, into the shopping center for a wee, and a horrible disappointing journey home. But maybe this time...

100% with you on that. Everyone's tastes different. And what pubs I like depends on my mood.

Rarely drink round Wembley. But for Eng v Brazil when Wembley 1st opened think it may have been 1st international there.. we went round Swiss Cottage which was good.

Baker St good but was rammed for one of our play offs..possibly Hull.

Baker Street was decent for the City semi

Took my daughter to City. Didn't have a drop. Completely different experience being there sober....in a good way.

Same again for po final as driving.
Been thinking about taking my 6 y/o daughter but was worried it would be too long a day for her and she wouldn’t enjoy it.

Did it work out ok?
