I am always proud to be a Blade but hearing and seeing the support at Palace I am, once again, proud to be a Blade.

Sheffield by birth, United by the grace of God!!!!!

The support was awsome, we just need a set of players that are able to meet tha ambition of the fans and then we have it cracked. I dont mean this as a slight on the current team, but merely as an observation that we deserve the best.

Fans were amazing today, was great down at the cross roads, blades everywhere singing, drinking, having banter with the odd palace fan that walked past and cars that drove by and we were loud on the tv too apparently, makes me get goosebumps we have the best fans, full of passion and proud to be blades.

Could only hear from the TV, but the sound from the Blades was absolutely immense! Let's hope for the same at Preston. Hopefully I might be able to wangle a way over, seeing as I ended up missing out today :(

Unlucky guys,

I'm guessing you're all not too dissapointed considering it was out of your hands and you still have a shot at the play-offs. So Preston then? What are your chances?

A.

Good to meet you 2 yesterday Essex!

Great atmosphere in the pub and outside!

Loads of forum members were there.

Great to see everyone again!

:)

Wetherspoons outside Thornton Heath, and the whole route from there to the ground, atmosphere was amazing. Shame it didn't last beyond the first half of the game, but knowing B'ham were winning didn't exactly help. :( Plus sides of yesterday - the buildup to the game, and the fact that despite the disappointment at the end, everyone still clapped the players off singing 'Que sera sera'. Negative - the idiot behind us who spent the whole game screaming abuse at eveyone on both teams, the fans, pretty much everyone in the ground. Have been unfortunate enough to sit near him before at an away game, truly the sort of muppet you don't want to see. But every team has them.

Not feeling as confident about playoffs as I was about yesterday, giving the 1st leg a miss but booked seat for monday. As I was exchanging text updates with my Reading-supporting boss at their game throughout the game, I'm sure I'll get the day off.

Wetherspoons outside thornton heath - was fantastic. Palace area didnt know what hit it.
They have never seen the like before and are unlikely to again- well done everone.
P.S. got some pics will put them on when i figure out how to.

Was the same outside another pub nearer to the ground cant remember the name of it, whole crossroads rammed with people with pints and cans, singing. And on you tube there are other places too.

Was a quality day and i didnt see any trouble what so ever, great fans we got.

There was trouble in one pub, palace fans decided to nick a united flag and start spray painting it.

A load of Blades rushed them and gave em a pasting.
