Pros and cons of Premier League football

Fair comment. Although, we more than made up for the decisions that went against us with both our reactions in those games and the ones that went for us later in the season. Is that a good reason for not wanting to be in the PL.

Are you one that would sooner see us in the Championship as some seem to be implying?

Can't pretend I didn't love last season, to upset the odds to such a degree was like being in dreamland. Of course I always want us to win, be better and challenge higher.

That doesn't mean I can't judge the merits of being a fan in each league. I'll always want us to win promotion from the Championship, even if I think it is a better league to be a part of.

Saying that, the thought of £40 plus away tickets in rusting shitholes doesn't fill me with much anticipation.

To many to list

Cons

Season ticket holder for years. Last season packed it in due to VAR. Ruined football for the attending fan.

Bending the knee, bringing politics into football.

Not winning very often

Expensive

Dull atmosphere at most games

Middle class saps

Pros

Watching world class players and signing them

Packed stadiums

Free streams

Beating Leeds

Weren't many cons last season!

Var caused more in-game frustration than any other season ever. The endless diving, screaming, rolling.

Let's hope the 'rusting shithole' isn't an option for a visit next season, eh?

However bad this season seems to us, there are some fans quite close by that have it a lot worse...and with little hope of things getting any better soon.

Time to count our blessings, maybe? ;)

The Premier League and more money argument should be a pro as in theory it should give the fans an opportunity to see better players play for us. Instead we spent the best part of 60 million pounds on McBurnie,Brewster and Ramsdale

Having twats from timbuktu who've never even set foot in the country let alone been to a Man U/Chelsea/Liverpool match calling us shit on social media.
Except they’re not, they’re calling Sheffield FC shit.

They’re worse in the Championship. Guaranteed 3k in the Prem.

Places like forest give you about 1500 in the champ.

Not to mention the ticket prices.
It varies though, the shit towns in Lancs with no fans of their own give as many as you want (Blackburn, Preston etc).

True but like you said the other day mate (think it was you but apologies if not) we only ever ask for more if we're doing well. I've been to some of those places and we haven't even sold out.

The 5k away days are superb though tbf

dont worry, that rusting shit hole will also be in a lower league next season

add another 20 odd million for the one from norway

I know we’re all trying to put a brave face on things. But the Prem is the only league to be in. There’s an awful of fans in this league who don’t know any different.
