Finally got the sensible screen up (the ridiculously huge one has gone back ) , depending on how ridiculous the sun is tomorrow evening, might have an outside one...

Noice. Tomorrow I’m taking the projector to Sheff de party towers. Hoping that The high buildings around will block the sunlight from the wall outside his gaff that we will be projecting on to.

If I had anyway to store another TV that’s what I would have done. But the portability of the projector is a nice bonus.

you just have to recognise the limitations. You can’t compete on brightness with the sun.

Struggled a little in the strong sun and no shade, but was watchable. Much better for the Liverpool v. Palace game with the sun less intense... But I'm currently no longer currently that interested

Pulled the projector out of storage, it’s been sat unused since last summer, but it’s now great for watching the Witcher on instead of the football.

I ended up mounting the screen in the bedroom, fits almost to the mm within the dormer and allows us to watch football/films in bed.

Still on original bulb.

Richer Sounds will come round your house and tell you what's best as long as you sound like you're going to spend enough with them. That's what I did....and ended up spending enough with them after their recommendations
