Burnley have not hit a poor patch this season and are due. We have. When they do we will capitalize and run away with this piss poor league. Tired of toying with teams, letting them have posssesion etc. Time to......ok, second will be fine
 
And also we won’t win 13 out of 18 Shirley?
 
I’d say we win 10 of the last 17 games. We’ll lose a few & draw a few. Predict we’ll finish around 90 point mark max - 96 seems a bit optimistic
 
And also let’s get a 17 point deduction instead of a fine 👍🏾
 
I think somewhere between 81-83 points is enough for second spot.

Edit: just checked 2019-2020 WBA finished 2nd on 83 points, I think this season will be similar.

Not sure if anyone knows but after 28games are 3rd to 6th currently on lower points than usual or about right?

The gap seems a bit strange so either us & Burnley are doing incredibly well or the rest are struggling for regular form

Given the run of games coming up for us, it’s likely that we will slow up a bit soon.

If WBA and Boro keep it up, there’s plenty of time for the bedwetters to have their moment.

I don’t know, but my guess is that the chasing pack are further behind where they’d normally be.

I also suspect that table isn’t taking into account who’s coming up. I think it’s looking backwards and forecasting from that, with a bias towards recent form. We’ve had a relatively easy run of late.
 
I'd say, worst case scenario is we are 7 points in front of Watford with 8 games to go. That weekend we play Norwich, they play Luton.

After that, it's 7 games where there's only Burnley away where we aren't considerable favourites

If we win the winnable games between now and the end of the season we’ll go up. Even if that’s dropping a few points vs Norwich, Burnley, Sunderland and I also see us losing one of the homes games vs Boro/ Watford/ W Brom

No chance we get max points out of those 6 games. I’d be happy with 10 from 18

Yes, we’ve got plenty of buffer to allow for some points being dropped there. We just need to avoid panic spreading by the usuals. :)

WBA
Watford

That's my prediction. It looks like a very secure 6

If anyone misses out it'll be Watford due to their injury mess and inconsistency. Luton and Millwall both capable of sneaking in
 
I can't see Burnley getting that many points. They can't possibly ride their luck (including massively outperforming their XG) for 46 games can they...!?
 
We have performed well against the "better" teams and no ot so against the " lesser" teams. I.e. we stuffed Burnley and struggled against Blackpool. Not sure who raises their game best us or our opposition in those games. I'm sure the lads will give it their best and that will be way more than enough for an automatic place. I'm not worried...... Not yet at least.
 



We need to win 14 from 18
