[Silent Blade]

Can any of you send photos of the Sheffield United v Bristol City (August 1969) and v Blackpool (October 1969) programme pages (front cover and line ups not needed) to me please. I need them for the 1969-70 season thread I will be creating next month. I dont have these programmes and neither does the Sheffield Library.

On a tangent, it is interesting to see the programme contains the Football League Review. I’ve just been given a few, and while I never showed any interest at the time, have found them an interesting read. ‘Ask the Ref’, A poll of the most attractive footballer! Three out of the four colour pages in the centre used for advertising cigarettes. Perennial debates about how the Laws could be changed to improve the game and more… How many years did Utd include this as part of their match day programme?

For our home games they were attached with the 1968-69 and 1969-70 programmes. I think after that they were sold separately and I wasn't interested in reading the Football League Review, apart from glancing at the photos
