Rivalry is healthy when it's about the football.

Letting it effect other parts of your life is a bit much in my opinion.

It's 'affect'. The result is then an 'effect', but I'm sure you knew that anyway with your planetary sized brain.

There is a bloke at my son's work who closed his Co-op bank account and then with great difficulty moved his mortgage - absolute fucking top Blade.

A bloke who sits behind us is obviously an industrial buyer. I've heard him telling his mates as he thumbs through the programme;
"We buy from them as they have an advert at the Lane... we don't buy from XXXX co they have a hoarding at Pigboro..." that really is an exceptional kind of talent.

Well, personally, I think that's a bit daft.

And I will never, ever buy an industrial sized mainframe computer and industrial or multi channel retail software, and associated support services from Sanderson's

Didn't Jarvis say he doesn't follow football but if he did it'd have to be the pigs? My uncle went to school with him and he remembers him as being far more into drama than football. Typical armchair massive.

Don't shop at asda after the 1991 rumblows cup fiasco, they well and truly nailed their colours to the mast on that one, shithouses!

As if Jarvis Cocker follows football.

Course he does! Didn't you seem him run on the pitch and do his 'waft a fart' protest when Hull beat Wednesday in the play-offs?

Jarvis Cocker was a Blade

In one of the morning papers several years ago they devoted a quarter of a page to him

There was a photograph of him waving his Blades scarf at Leicester City fans at Filbert Street in the 1970's

By 2001 he might have been
But in the 70's and early 80's he was a Blade

I can assure you that the co-op bank will never ever be receiving my business.

Writing off £20m of debt when they could have taken the stadium, when that's what they would do if you defaulted on your £200k mortgage.

Ethical trading my fucking eye...

Yes, what a set of wankers. I closed a longstanding account and took my overdraft elsewhere

Nah! Won't have a blue car on principal. Can't support a team playing in blue and white (sorry Killie) under any circumstances, try not to wear blue if attending important events (bad luck and all that).

Is this in the correct section?

Anyway, Argentina gets my vote for the big cold shoulder. Wine and beef and whatever else you can shove it. Never in my life will i contribute a single penny to their economy. Tinpot country, tinpot race.

Tin pot strip - blue and white fucking stripes ! ;)

I stopped betting when the cheating pigs Peter Swan and Bronco Layne got done for match fixing. Course, I was only about 4 at the time but it was the principle. Never been in a betting shop and never placed a bet since.... or before.

Once got bought a set of 7 pairs of socks with the days of the week written on them. One pair went straight in the bin.

No that was daft, really short sighted. You should have put the W*****day ones on e-bay and made some money out of the bastards! Remember as a Blade, we gotta make the money count. :)

It is still Blue and White. Have a dislike. :):)
