He looks distinclty average, doesn't he? Let's hope it's a fitness issue. He looks really goal shy. There's clearly some reason, but why Boggy doesn't get a regular run escapes me. He looks much more of a footballer than any of our forwards.

THough according to the beeb we had 6 shots on target.

We're lacking there, definitely. But whilever we have a keeper playing as poor as Simmo, everything else we do will be undermined.

How long does it take to get match fit! He's played 4/5 games now and trained god knows how many times a week. He's lazy and thats it. In the second half the ball came off there defender and he could of got to it and we would of had a decent opportunity 2 on 3 or something. Instead he lets it go out for a throw in and let Millwall regroup!
 

survival or relegation, we need to have a complete overhaul of the squad.

we definitely need a new keeper, center half, left back, left wing and a striker.

Agreed. Yeates was a complete waste of a shirt today. Didn't deliver one decent cross, shirked any 50:50 challenge he was presented with and rarely broke sweat when he gave the ball away.

Bent completely off the pace up front, but that only needs Boggy promoted from the bench. I have heard many say he was MOTM v Ipswich so why he was on the bench? Adams clearly doesn't fancy him (as per his attempted disposal to Hibs) he
 
just seen simmo's farcical attempt at a punch that led to the goal. judging by his attempts at punched clearances this year, i'd not worry if i was to fight him :p

Agreed for the most part Yeates was piss poor today, although being ultra critical on your post he did put one cracking cross into the 6 yard box that cresswell should have really gotten in front of marker to score
 
Simmo must have got underneath 5 or 6 crosses all game. His footwork is poor and he would be better off being told to staying on his line.

our number one priority is to get him doing the right thing on the training ground because I am not sure where your going to get a keeper from
 
It was a poor punch but he did have about 5 players also going for the same ball to contend with.
 
The problem Bent (and Evans) have is they are having to go wide as Yeates does fuck all ,which is Ok if Yeates then made his way into box ,but he doesn't. Bent has class but is not getting the service from the flanks. We need 2 quality wide players with the system we are playing ,they are pivotal in the balnce of the team.
 
Perhaps its the goalkeeper coach that is sh!t
I think its now Paul Crichton, ex WBA who took over from Andy Leaning
When Crichton was playing he used to get abused every week on the Birmingham area phone in for his inability to deal with crosses!
They called him Dracula!!!
Why not get a decent goalkeeper coach like Lee Butler (Donny) and a blade or Simon Tracey who's now at Barnsley (Perhaps we should get one of them to play!)

I agree about lack of service. But right now there looks to be a lot more missing from Bent's game that you're identifying. We could get relegated in the time it takes to establish if he's still got anything.

Wouldn't that be part of the practice?

Personally whilst Simmo is a little unsteady, I would take a step back to the days of Kenny and never let him come for crosses. Let the defenders deal with them and let him stay on his line and stay alert
