Congratulations on the least researched post in s24su history
Looking forward to hearing your views on brexit, trump and the forthcoming general election

Listen Dick'ead, I corrected myself didn't I but if the OP doesn't fancy linking or posting a picture then I'm afraid you're gonna get retorts such as mine...especially as I don't have Twitter!

For the record Fanny, brexit is well earned, Trump is my hero and a vote for the EDL this coming GE is a vote for our kids future!

The prince has backed us big time since he came in. We wouldn't have half of our team without him. Next season will be sensible spending id imagine, as the championship was a different league (financially) when they were quoted about significant investment when we go up.

People talk of consolidation but why can't we go for it whilst we're on a massive high?

No one is saying we shouldn't. Some of us just want to temper it with a bit of realism.

It's likely that we won't storm the Championship like we did this one and it would be better if we didn't get carried away and raise our hopes too high. It would be too much pressure to put on the team.

I personally don't think we should be setting lofty targets when we are an unproven entity. Just my opinion.

Well the bars been set. £20-£30m or its not worth bothering next season.

Sack the board now.

Think he was the Sports Minister of Saudi? Not suggesting for one minute that he packs his bags and moves to Sharrowvale just thought it could be a signal that he takes a slightly more serious interest in us alongside his other businesses. After all I didn't think the job he was in over there was a permanent thing.

He's completing National Service which they still have in Saudi

Agreed. But it won't help the team if we're hiding in the corner, trembling with fear about Burton, Barnsley and Ipswich, will it.

I can feel it coming on. I can't help it. I'm having a full scale Bladey panic atta

Of course the budget will increase but I sincerely doubt we will start chucking 30k a week at players any time soon. I suspect Chris will want to keep the wage band narrow to avoid any one player being on significantly more money than the rest. That will mean either bumping existing player's salaries up (by quite a margin) or bringing in new players on similar amounts. It's going to be a challenge to get the balance right in a league where agents are regularly screwing clubs into playing lower end PL sums.[/QUOTE]

Stretch , you have hit the little metal pin on its cerebral summit. That is going to be next seasons biggest challenge off the pitch and wil have untold effect to our success to challenging on the pitch.

I'd been wondering whatever happened to the in-house digital team that used to work at the Lane. Missed their photoshopping skills...

It's OK this buying players for the Championship, But we're going to end up with a hell of a big squad if we did go straight through and have to buy another lot for the Premiership.
Especially if they're all wanting 3year contracts anall ..............

Three games in, United are booed off the pitch. It's happening people.

They'll get what they're given and be happy with it or they can bugger off!
