And Berge, if he realises his potential and klopp comes in for him, then 22m will be a steal..

Wilder is the reason all this is happening. Everyone thought we'd be struggling at the foot of the table getting hammered every other week and signings like Berge would be a pipe dream. Not only is Wilder a Blade he is a fantastic, shrewd, passionate football manager. In my North London local last night I was drinking with a Chelsea and Arsenal fan. The Chelsea fan said you know what, I think what Sheffield United have done is absolutely fantastic. I'd only spoken to this geezer a few times before and my Arsenal mate said you know he's a Sheff United fan? It's great. Even the governor started betting on the Blades, a heavy gambler, and he backed us win win half time full time at home to Arsenal and I got three free pints out of it.

He may have made many shocking decisions but he put his own money in rather than getting PL money. However, water under the bridge now we're at a financial level never before available to us.

CW and HRH have taken us to exciting new places, and have shown their ambition yet again. More to celebrate about that I'd have thought.

A great time to be a Blade but let's not get carried away. Just listening to Football Heaven and plenty of Wendies blaming Chansiri for their position.

Don't forget that 5 years ago, he was the second coming, splashing the cash. Any comparison with the Prince isn't the point, but just spending money guarantees nowt.

We are in a fantastic position and the money being spent shows a real level of ambition. These wonder signings haven't kicked a ball yet though, so let's see where we are at the end of the season.

I’d say he got market value, but not above. Because we always needed to sell to balance the books and that weakens your hand.
