My observations are
1: Comes across well, it’s refreshing to see a Senior Executive with a sense of humour.
2: He seems to appreciate Steve Bettis. Apparently Wilder works well with Steve and I’ve heard he does a great job for the club.
3: Regards stadium upgrades he mentions improving the fan experience and no mention of stadium expansion increasing capacity.
The final question I would love to ask is the Arab States have recently used their petrol money to invest heavily in clubs. Qatar owns Paris St Germain, the UAE own Man City. Therefore will Saudi Arabia follow up by using football to bring publicity to their country.
Let’s not forget that in 2022 the Qatar World Cup will provide a buzz and boost to enthusiasm of the whole Arab Gulf.
It wouldn’t be the biggest surprise if the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia turn their attention to football in a high profile league. Could we start receiving Man City type investment?
