That could be Keinan Davis or Reda Khadra I would imagine and definitely sounds like an attacking player. I can't see it being Davis though, surely he'll attract interest from the top flight.
 
I think Davis will be too difficult for us to get. Too much competition surely, and will Villa really go for another loan ?

Khadra though is primed for us
 
Regards his injury record, not something I’d be massively concerned about if he came in - think he’d primarily be a sub 2nd/3rd choice behind Brewster/Sharp, plus the conditioning fella we’ve brought in from PNE is apparently an absolute star when it comes to injury management, so can only hope it all comes together and works
 
Less enthused if it’s a loan for Khadra. He’s inconsistent, isn’t in the AAA bracket and given his contract situation a loan also seems a bit odd.
 
If I remember right, Sunjihi was most accurate at the start of Wilder’s reign…
He never said who he’s in talks with so watch him sign for Boro now! 😂

Bit early to be labelling a player "inconsistent" when he only turned 21 this week and has played half a season of men's football. Came through the BVB youth system and had a trial at Man Utd before being picked up by Brighton, who know a thing or two about finding good prospects in European football. That's a good pedigree.

Obviously not going to be the finished article but an exciting possibility, I'd say.
 

25 by the end of next season and to date has 8 goals to his name. Seems like he’s ready for a permanent transfer and I’d be surprised at Villa loaning him out again.

Kids are inconsistent it comes with the territory. It’s not a huge criticism of him as I say it’s expected but I wouldn’t want us wasting loans on him, given he’s out of contract in the summer I’d be interested in a perm where we get the benefit.

He doesn’t have MGW level of experience though and therefore his even more inconsistent. Now he could be ready to make that step forward but last season Blackburn fans seem to think he was more miss than hit. Brilliant on occasion but mostly frustrating. We need that to be the other way around.
 
If it was the other way round we wouldn't be able to sign him, certainly not permanently

We'd be gambling on his technique translating into end product and it would be a very good gamble imo

Exactly. As a perm as he’s out of contract next summer, as a loan it makes less sense.

His fitness record is his main criticism. But if you get him fit (and we're quite good at injuring players down Shirecliffe 😂) he'd be a fucking bulldozer for us.
 
Listening back to that recent clip from Nathan Hemmingham on this mystery PL player. He mentions that the player in question ripped us apart "on both occasions last season". That to me sounds like someone from the regular season rather than someone who also played in the play offs and I don't think Forest had Davis in the first game at their place; in fact I know they didn't. Davis played at the Lane in the league, and in both play off games I recall. My money is on Khadra because of that; is there anyone else that springs to mind, not including Davis?!

He also says in the Q&A the player in question is an attacking midfielder so that rules out Davis as the person he is talking about.
