Pre-season: where would you go?

A little premature but the move to BST and a nice sunny day has got me thinking about summer and the pre-season tour.

As you may or may not know, last summer we ended up in Scotland (our blog of said trip can be found HERE) while Ollie (Sensiblade) followed the Blades as they visited Holland (his blog can be found HERE.)

Just wondered, where would the Blades go this pre-season if you could have your say?

I'd love to but got to say it would be the price that put me off.

£1000 for a week last time around?! I could go abroad for a month for that money!

Just back from a week in Cornwall. Mate has a cottage near Padstow, he would be delighted to entertain everyone of us, especially as he doesnt understand footy and is often seen wearing blue in S6.

Yeh!! Sounds good to me. Now I'm with Tom I'd probably be more willing to go as have someone else to go with! Plus, could stay with his mate in Exeter.

Although, they did cancel China last time so there's a good chance they will re-book - I wouldn't go. Not with the humidity like it was last time - others said it was unbearable. Plus, as others have already mentioned - very costly. Would imagine China would be harder for players because of the humidity - make it very draining for their energy levels, plus the travelling.

I've heard their last visit to China mentioned as a huge benefit precisely due to the training in these conditions.

Tours of the USA seem to be linked to big sponsorship deals by the clubs involved.

Adidas sorted out Chelsea's pre-season tour.

Can't see Capital One or LCS having paying for it somehow
