I was at that Cardiff game. Then in 99 I took a job in Somerset, was wearing one of the old "Sheffield United - Pride of Yorkshire" tees, when a bloke came up and said "I hate Sheffield U" - why's that says I, who are your lot?
Cardiff he says -
Ah says I - 1971?
Yeah he says

It made my day. Small things and all that.

I was there too and what a memorable night it was .

A couple of weeks ago I was chatting with a Wednesdayite acquaintance who is one of a very breed in that he is sensible, level headed and knowledgeable about football . He told me that he was there also and considered the Blades performance to be one of the highlights of his entire football watching experiences .
