Wolves are our 'Gary Oak' (ask your son). Always seen them as a bit of a nemesis side for us since they beat us in the 02/03 playoff final when I was just 10 years old. Caught them again in League One 10 years later where they flew out of the league at the first time of asking with 103 points, which slightly bettered our eventual centurion run. Now we find ourselves looking up at them again as they battle to get in to the Champions League and us the Europa League... just a year behind them now.

We're catching you up Gary... and your grandad likes us more.

Cheers Roy.

Cheers as usual Roy! Liking these comments. Us and Wolves seem to be kindred spirits in disrupting the balance of power up at the top, but still hope we bum them.

Fair call by them agree it will be I tight game , they are very dangerous on break , really need to get the first goal in this one

I've noticed lately these so called, "footballers" tend to like to stand about having a chat and drink. Having put my watch on it this normally occurs about halfway through the first half and is repeated at a similar time in the second half. Incredibly this "drinks break" also includes the "goalkeepers" who really should know better than to leave the goal unguarded. Maybe all these managers have yet to "get up to speed" as it seems to me to be a perfect opportunity to tell their players to go and knock a couple of goals in while the other lot are not paying attention!
Yours in bewilderment.

Liked for the Digimon reference ;)

Thanks Roy.

Never been a fan of Wolves myself, or their kit, it looked old fashioned when I first saw it in the 1960's & it isn't any better now, but having said that I like Nuno & despite having questionable things going on in the background I have enjoyed watching them on occasions. Mind you the chap saying they were superior to us at their ground wants to give his head a wobble.

Complimentary on the whole. None of them thinking it will be easy. Compare that to my feelings of 'ill snatch your hand for a point'. Comments that Traore might miss out - good. I think he's a reyt player and a real danger on the whole.

That argues completely against my point, but other than that.....

Var Overturns.
(Based on last seasons league finishes)

1st-6th = +6
12th-17th =+19

Where is that 'big 6' favoritism?
Depends how many points were won with the overturns I guess. If the team in 17th are 5-0 down and get one overturned, it makes no difference on the outcome.

We’ll win the league only to find out that Wolves already did it just before we got there so we have to play an extra match against them.

Also I don’t know about anyone else but I never named him Gary on the game. Always something like ‘ARSE FACE’ or ‘TWAT BAG’. If we could do that to Wolves one day as well that would be amazing.

Same here mate. Was at the Millenium with my dad as a 9yr old and disliked them ever since.

Fucking Doritos fucks

“I fancy us to do it. Spurs gave them the game in midweek.”

Aye, it's a good job we don't come a cropper like that every week....

Seem a decent enough lot, still hope we stuff em, but could be a difficult game.
On the plus side we will have our Defence back and firing on all, not sure about the midfield yet, would like to see Freeman play some part.

We were all over this lot at the Mol but really struggled to break them down after their early goal.”

I agree with this guy.

We scored so early that some of our fans missed it because they were still on the concourse stuffing their faces and we then defended well but offered very little else for the next hour or so.

After their equaliser it took us a while to start getting back on the front foot, but we did eventually get there and in the last ten minutes I thought we looked the side most likely to win but given they had the best of the game for 75/80 minutes of it I can see exactly where this guy is coming from.

Having said that I was really looking forward to their game against Arsenal at the weekend and they were unusally shite.

Let's hope that they manage a repeat of that tomorrow rather than the Molineaux game against us.

Had to be done, all caps as well. "Ah here's my grandson. Hello CUNT!"

Umpteenth.
Very reasonable comments. A very good side Wolves.

Damage limitation me thinks. Since the restart they seem to have done better than United, so I would have thought they would have been a little more optimistic.
Lets hope the players and management team think likewise, would give United a great chance.
Thanks Roy.

He might always have been one step ahead of me in the game but I always rested safe in the knowledge that I at least mattered enough for my own grandad to remember my name.

For that reason he rightly deserved to be called ‘KNOB CHEE’ (I ran out of characters to put ‘SE’ on the end).

I like the last comment. Hopefully change will come. Nice one Roy

Disgraceful that, always called him Gary.

You are king of culture on this forum, always had huge respect for the profile pic and subheading n'all.

In that case I’d better not tell you what I nicknamed my Snorlax...

How’s that for damage limitation!!

Complete damage by the Blades, showed Wolves limitations.
Not managed to watch but listened to the radio commentary. Looking forwards to watching in the morning. The day has taken on a beautiful glow now despite the appalling weather 'don't you know'
I thought the Wolves supporters were looking towards damage limitation as they feared what has happened. I'll try to express myself better in future.:)
