Unbeaten in 8 games v hammers at The Lane in the top flight, last a 3-0 in April 2007. Won 6 drawn 2.
Blades have 7 straight wins v London clubs at The Lane.
Moyes has 0 wins in his last 24 away games v teams in the top 8.

Might have to put a new roof coming on the Kop when McGoldrick scores.

God I want us to win this one so badly,😀

Some horrible southern cunts amongst them still!
£10 on Didzy to score first.

More top work Roy, must've been painful, surrounded by shit and drivel poured out by our southern cunt friends.
🤣 Believe it or not, we've got quite a lot of Northerners on Kumb..

The last one made me chuckle.

got a feeling we will get an injury time winner from mcburnie with didzy finally scoring with an early first half goal and them quickly equalising while we sit back and invite pressure.

Blades 2-1

Don't care about the tevez thing, we went down as we didnt accumulate the required points. Despite that the west ham fans i know down south are hideous wannabe city boys who spend their over inflated wages shoveling powder up there noses. Worst london fan base by far!
Chelsea more like..

I know loads of good chelsea lads, not one decent west ham. Wannabee danny dyers.

Don't think Mr.Moyes has enough in his brain to defeat our Chrisie. He'll go for us first 10mins then that'll be that !
Blades 3-0.
:)

Still a set of wankers I see. Does any Blade actually give a fuck about the Tevez saga any more? Looking back, I reckon we wouldn't be in the position we are now if we never had to endure all that shit, so I'm grateful
To answer your question just look at some the comments on this forum when anything to do with West Ham is mentioned. Most of our fans, I’d say, can’t let it drop about Tevez. (Or the Miners strike when we play Nottingham clubs).

If there’s ever justice to savour over this case it’s now, as we look down and see them below us in the Premier League. :D That’s all that matters now.

It does feel odd that they on the whole seem to mention Tevez far more than we do. Possibly just to try to wind us up I guess.
I did lose respect for West Ham because of that issue having previously been quite appreciative of them as a club historically. I do now enjoy seeing them lose and struggle but reserve hatred for those that truly deserve it.
Who knows what would have happened in the intervening years had that not happened but I’ve long since stopped getting wound up by what is now long gone history.

That last line is an interesting question.
To me, the whole affair was kind of just an admin issue. Trouble was, it is fair to say that the result of it, did contribute to your relegation that season. Would we have stayed up without Tevez? Have to say, unlikely.
We even had previous. We played, I think Spurs at home in a cup & managed to bring a sub on who was already cup tied......ffs. Again, a stupid admin error.
We won the match but Spurs (probably before us) had noticed. The guy contributed nothing of note to the game. If we had brought another player on, we probably still would have won but, a rule had been broken. The game had to be replayed & we lost the replay...
I'm not saying that the Tevez thing was a genuine mistake, btw.

I'm not one for defending West Ham, really I'm not, I think the way their fans speak of the whole affair would make you think they were the victims not us! However, I still think the PL should bear more of the brunt of our criticism than West Ham do. West Ham lied about the signing of the players registration, but it was the PL who fluffed the whole thing and as ever took too long to come to a verdict whereby taking points of West Ham would almost certainly have relegated them from the verdict onward. Had the verdict come earlier than it did then taking points off West Ham wouldn't have been seen as relegating them, but just punishment for their actions.

I'd like to think though that both clubs have moved on since, and the fans, but overall whatever happens tonight at least we don't have to watch our football in an athletics stadium with binoculars! Its interesting that on the continent many teams used to play in athletics stadiums, even the big clubs such as from Serie A, but almost all of the bigger clubs have since left those stadiums or remodeled them. West Ham went the other way by leaving one of the best stadiums in the country for atmosphere to go to an athletics stadium! Brilliant!

Tevez yawn

Moyes is going to want to. Prove what a tactical genius he is. I think they'll try to replicate what Liverpool did. But they aren't even in the same stratosphere. If they play to their strengths, get it forward quickly to Antonio and try to play in our half I think it'll be a tough one.

If they think they can play 800 passes and dominate physically we'll win comfortably.

We need to take our early chances before they realise they can't fuck around with it. I'll go for a nervy 2-1 where we dominate 1st half but get pinned back after half time

Pretty sure Antonio is out injured for this one

“I have a very specific request for the outcome of this match.
We must only win by one goal. But that goal must come in the sixth minute of stoppage time after the board shows only four should be played. There should be no explainable reason for this such as further injuries etc. They must also have had three stonewall penalties turned away without recourse to VAR due to an electrical failure within the VAR studio. Oh but that isn’t the only mistakes of the night, our injury time goal is scored by our Argentine player Lanzini, however our newly employed shirt man finds foreign names difficult and accidently spelt it Tevez.”

👀

Cannot wait to read your next post Roy.... its gonna be awesome!!!

I came here to re post this very thing. What an absolute twat😃

Not quite the exact opposite but not far off.

Pissed myself laughing when it was ruled out based on the crappest rule football has ever thought up

I have only just read this view from. (I am stupidly superstitious and never read them before a match as we always seem to lose when I do!)

The very last view was particularly amusing to read. The irony and karma of what actually happened as compared with what he/she wanted to happen was something to savour.😊
