If wasn’t so dark and potentially so cold. I’d take the dogs for their usual 2 hour walk when the game is on. I simply can’t watch us play live on the TV anymore, I get so wound up and frustrated when we play so crap. But awful performances never quite get to me as much when I’ve been to the lane. I have generally walked off all my frustrations, by the time I get halfway down Bramall Lane.

I spoke to our auditors at work yesterday, he’s a West Brom fan. He just said “it’ll be a Friday night EFL sky game next season this one”.

Sadly I don’t think he’s wrong. Both teams need a win and our weaknesses are their to see. If WBA come at us they’re more likely to score than we are, and if we concede it’s over.

I really hope this is the game where we fight for everything and get some chances to go at them, but sadly I feel they’ll score early and it’ll be over within ten minutes.

Our only hope of staying up is to not lose to those around us and hope they’re consistently as bad as we are, but the fact that we’re still on a sole point shows we’re really riding our luck and not helping ourselves.

They have some good players on paper, this wont be easy. I think it will be a good game though. if i’m being honest I cant see us scoring, their creative players are better than ours on paper and therefore they have the creative edge.
